I love it. Many of the attacks and hits in videogames are still modified from the actual motion capturing sessions, but the MC still greatly helps the crew with basic physics. Something that would have taken months during the 90's.

Ragdolls can be done well, and even blended with death animations. Most devs are just lazy about it.
mocap is fine. it's that awful face scanning shit that's making triple ayyyy games worse than ever.

Both are fine if they are tweaked instead of just inserted with no alterations
How mentally retarded would you have to be to want to watch the same death animation 1000 times? Dynamic ragdolls are obviously the most realistic tech to use

This is okay, so long as it's being done by an appropriately strong weapon - like if it's a super shotty blast at point blank, keep that.
Pretty good. Better than any game that uses ragdolls that I've seen. Just needs an instant crumple and the pre-death limb tense from Half Life 2 for small calibre headshots.

If it's a realistic looking game and they don't use overacted anime movements (like FF7R for example) it usually looks pretty good imo.

Mocap because the people they use are always fat schlubby guys or women so nothing has any real weight behind it and the choreography is Batwoman levels of awful.
Ragdolls because most devs are lazy as fuck with them and use them in place of an actual animation.
