The problem I have with ascendency is it's not implied it wipes off their memories. They might obey you, but if you ask something strange they'll remember it.

It complicates things by a lot.

Ascendancy is broken but requires good planning. I don't think just mind controlling some rich asshole to wire you 200.000€ is gonna work because the mind control wears off after 1 hour. They're going to want to know what the fuck happened and your bank account will show up

Ascendancy is a no-brainer.
If intervene was 1 hour total per day, starting and stopping as you wish like for example 60*1min 30*2min etc stops it'd be the best.

Can I use intervene in small intervals or is it a one and done? Like, if I stop time for a minute, do I still have 59 minutes left for that day? If so, intervene by far.

I think OP assumes ascendancy wipes their memory for that hour. If it didn't, the power would be absolute garbage. Every illegal or fun thing you could do with it would be used against you as soon as the effect wore off.

I think so too, but it is said for Euphoriac but not precised for ascendancy.

Needs better explanation, can I freely move any object within 50ft range around me? Does it attract to me? must the object completely fit within 50ft? Anyway doesn't actually sound all that useful for personal gain, more like a party trick and everyday convenience.

Thought a lot about this too. The way it's worded just leaves it ambiguous; I assume you'd have to directly speak to the person you'd be controlling for this work, or would you just Geass people from a distance?
That being said, how much control over a person's mind would you have to give the command "Forget everything that happened in the past hour/ If you try to tell anyone what happened you can't communicate my name in any way or describe me"

I feel like people would pick up on it after it happened 5 times, even if you traveled to different cities to do it. An urban legend of a dude in a mask would be created or something.

Ascendancy is super OP with no limiter on range/strength. Just mind control the president to pardon you for any crime and make you a super agent with Above Top Secret clearance and go chill with aliens under Area 51. Mind control a trillionaire to set you up with a few billion dollars. Mind control the the DEA/FDA to make LSD, DMT, psilocybin, and mescaline federally legal, then go through your state's personnel to make them legal at the state/county/city level.
If you're a twisted motherfucker, mind control an ATC worker to fly planes into each other. Or again the president and use the football to turn a specific country into a glass crater. Make a dictator you had shit into his hands and smear it over his face during a rallying speech.

If ascendancy recharges after one hour, does that time start from when you first use it, or from when the target is no longer being controlled by you?
I assume you have to wait until they dissolve at least before you can make more. If you send three clones on suicide missions and they all die you can't make more just because they're dead. Though you could stagger it so you constantly have clones alive.

Do it small then. The best way would be to open some kind of restaurant or store and make the prices ridiculous. Like $100 for a regular ass hamburger that costs $5 to buy/prepare. Then mindcontrol rich/famous people into coming in. Hell, eventually you won't even need to control anyone, they'll all be coming in voluntarily because a bunch of fancy motherfuckers like eating there. No rich dude is going to think "hmm, strange that I ate at this random food place, clearly I was being mind controlled!"

Ascendancy is hard to beat, but Intervene and Ectoplasmic would be amazing as well, and Telekinesis and Euphoriac tons of fun too. Copy-cat seems to be the least practicable of the three; could make for a strong alibi but even that has its limitations.

You could mind control a politician into murdering a bunch of people on national TV. You can't do anything remotely similar with time stop.

How does Intervene work? Can I interact with things or only look at them? Can I move and go wherever I want?

You guys are not taking into account the consequences of doing your illegal actions. Eventually people are going to figure out you have magic powers and are going to try to arrest or kill you. The world will figure out your abilities and work to restrict them as best as possible. Ectoplasmic is the only one that is guaranteed to keep you free and alive. No matter what happens you can just walk out of jail, or go invisible when someone tries to attack you. Since you can become incorporeal that means you can also become immune against any means to attack you.

Ascendancy only works on 1 person at a time. It's completely useless if you get apprehended by more than 1 person. People will realize that you can only affect 1 person at a time and will just send teams of 2+ to deal with you. If someone starts acting funny, just shoot them in the head. Now you have no advantage for the next hours.

Euphoriac could be good if you can do it on a whole crowd of people at once, but it's useless against mechanical targets. Send in the drones and you're dead. It's also the most obvious when you are doing it.

Copy cat is obviously trash. Just get some loyal followers to do your bidding.

Telekinesis sucks. Once you're captured they'll just put you in a jail cell with 50 ft of empty space around it. Now you cant do jack shit.

Intervene is a good 2nd choice but there's only so much you can do with stopping time. Once you're in jail, that's it. You can't do shit to escape. They will take no chances with you. Having to wait an entire day for it to recharge is a huge disadvantage as well. If you've already used up your power for that day you can't do a damn thing.

Sure, ectoplasmic isnt going to be the easiest way to get lots of money or sex or whatever, but its still doable and it is the safest option by far. If you get imprisoned just walk out. If you get attacked just become incorporeal. If you get found just go invisible.
