FF7 Remake - hated by everyone

People were asking whether other people hate what they did to the remake story-wise as well.

And yes, they sure do. Even on Reddit and their games and finalfantasy subs it's pretty much all negative when it comes to the story, for many it even ruins the whole game.
Here's a collection of top voted posts in their discussion threads.

>reddit
that's great. Now can you go back and stay there? Thanks.

this tbqh

Sorry for ruining your "only Yas Forums contrarians hate it" defense

>caring about reddit
You have to go back

OH NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I wonder if 2ch hates it too

5ch hates everything just like us so yes

Weird. My friends and I love it.

Christ, people on reddit are retarded.
>That ending was the biggest piece of shit I've seen in gaming.
>I enjoyed it for the most part
Reddit confirmed for being retarded shitmunchers.

Literally everyone complaining in that image and everyone complaining in THIS thread will buy episode 2 when it comes out and then CONTINUE COMPLAINING.

All of you are too stupid to vote with your wallet and your low IQs make you succumb to the fear of missing out. You WILL buy episode 2 even if it's the equivalent of chugging diarrhea.

There's a social media hashtag in Japan that basically translates to #Nomura's head on a pike.

There's some screepcaps of posts floating around and they're hilarious

Japs love the game. They are slaves to authority and will not disrespect the creator's vision. He if their God and if this is what he wanted they will not only respect it, but they will love it.

Urchin, I didn't even buy part 1.

Why the fuck won't people shut up about this shit? Why is Final Fantasy 7, specifically, such an autism magnet?

>look every post in reddit
>take only the ones that hate the remake
>"SEE? everyone hates it"
Lmao
kill yourself retard, i see more remake lovers than haters in reddit and every place i go to

Bros, I finished chapter 1 and now it's installing from disc. It says it's at 65% for a while now.
Should I be worried?

Prove it.

Yas Forums doesn't like to admit it, but redditors and twitterfags who dive in the shit just to out their own kind or to prove a point like this are unsung heroes of Yas Forums

>admitting to being a redditor

Maybe because it's one of the most popular and well-received games of all time?

The only people that hate the endings are brainlets that couldn't follow the simplistic story.
I've even seen retards convinced that there's "2 to 4 Sephiroths" now, because they never played the original and weren't paying attention in the Remake.

At the end of Advent Children, when Sephiroth is sent back to the lifestream like all creatures go when they die, he retained some semblance of himself and managed to send his consciousness back through time into the Sephiroth that's sitting in the Northern Crater in a cocoon waiting for the Black Materia.
Since he's also connected to Jenova, Jenova now knows all of what's going to come, and as a result is trying to change the timeline.
Enter "Sephiroth" in places he never was in the original game. Every single instance, except once, of Sephiroth in the entire game is either a Jenova clone posing as him, or one of the failed clones that Hojo dispatched that's being controlled via the Sephiroth in the Northern Crater.
The only time the "real" Sephiroth appears is at the Edge of Creation or whatever the fuck he called it, when he asks Cloud to join him in defying destiny.

Aeris, being an Ancient, was able to keep a part of her consciousness when she went into the life stream, so she saw everything happen after she died, and realized that Sephiroth sent his consciousness back to try to change the outcome, so she does the same thing to try and keep it all on track.
It's not until the end of the game when Aeris realizes that they've fucked with destiny WAY to much and at this point their only option is to push forward and try to do what's right. She'll be the guiding light for the rest of the series, trying to keep the timeline in tact.

People don't understand any of this though, because you'd have to have read some random 2014 to get that bit of info about Sephiroth/Aeris sending their consciousness back through time

>outting yourself
Yas Forumseddit does it again

The remake will never have something this badass

>he actually gives a shit what sites people use
It's not 2005 anymore, Yas Forums is mainstream as fuck and the only people that have the "Yas Forums sekret klub" mentality are children who just found out about this site in the past year and want to show their "cred" by calling out "newfags" and "redditors".
Funny thing is, anyone who's spent any number of years on here can see right through your bullshit insecurities.

more than half of Yas Forums(nel) user visit reddit

>The only people that hate the endings are brainlets
>lists a bunch of shit nobody would be aware of unless they're intimately familiar with the original's story as well as other spin-offs
You didn't need to do anything but play the game in order to understand the original story. This is a mess.

Take it to reddit op.

Except those are actually the top posts in their respective threads.
For example, this is the current discussion thread on the FF subreddit: reddit.com/r/FinalFantasy/comments/g096ks/spoilers_ffvii_remake_part_1_megathread_part_3/?sort=top

>top post #1: negative
>top post #2: negative about no 7th heaven basement
>top post #3: negative
>top post #4: negative
>top post #5: positive about hell house boss

I could go on, but clearly you are wrong already. The vast majority of top posts and most upvoted posts are posts highly critical of the story changes from people who don't like them.

You are wrong.
youtu.be/BziAKqMoBBw?t=13m20s

Watch these last 4 minutes and you will understand why this game ruined itself in the end. But I doubt you're willing to spend 4 mins to see why you are wrong.

I've been here since 2006. There is a difference between people who belong here and people who don't. Anyone who complains about Yas Forums or acts like they don't want to be here should be ridiculed. This narrative you're trying to spin like nobody cares is the bullshit. It's the narrative cross-site shitposters use to try and suppress criticism for being a cross-site shitposter.
>us imposters always belonged here
My ass.
