Agreed. I never thought consciously about it, but that's part of what I didn't like in the sequels.

He dreamed big. Aimed for the stars and hit the moon. He really wanted his games to have all of the things he said they would have. He believed in his product and himself. Without this, Fable is another western rpg with borrowed mechanics from IGN and Facebook's "Top 10 games of the decade"
