While I didn't like it as much as 1 or X at first, it gets really god in he last chapters, to the point of being more interesting than 1 by far. But yeah, the beginning is kin of a drag and Gormott is a big meh. It also takes a while to get Zeke and Morag.
Still a worthy game of the franchise and Monolith keeps proving how good at worldbuilding they are.

Good video game. Absolute roller coaster ride of a final act.

Pretty good, severe lack of endgame if you don't buy the DLC though. Gacha can fuck off, just let me earn the Blades. Got the game last year and I'm still missing Vale, Ursula, and Zenobia.

The problem was making you manually equip the needed Blades instead of just scanning your Blade inventory to see if you had the skills available.

I get the feeling you either don’t understand how it works or just haven’t played the game past the first 20 hours or something, the game throws rare crystals and boosters at you non-stop, just do the merc missions so your Ideas level up, build up Luck with items, equipped Blade and shit and use good cores with boosters on drivers with high corresponding base Idea.
Also, RNG is not gacha, gacha implies real money.

Worst Xenoblade, still great game and has some parts that are up with the best like music. My least favorite gameplay though.

depending how far in you are it might not be a good idea to move anything TO rex, but by all means move anybody to anybody else
