Are you hyped for Final Fantasy VII REMAKE part 2?

Not really excited anymore, more like morbidly curious. The best part of the Remake were the ones where they added stuff to old content, parts where they invented entirely new shit ranged from lackluster to terrible.
And given that following games are gonna be even more of new shit, I don't really have faith in it being good.

I really doubt it'll carry over. They've given players lots of endgame materia, and AP counts for getting the magics to final levels were ridiculously low. There's really not much of progression to be had there anymore.
...Then again, people are gonna be pretty pissed if they have to start from clean plate. It really is a lose-lose situation.

I'm just happy that Vincent and Yuffie will be part of the story, instead of being the silent optional character.

I'm not putting a bet on a date, but I think it will be coming a lot sooner than what people are expecting.
Would not surprise me if it was a 2021 or 2022 release.

If we take the FFXIII trilogy as precedent, at least 2 years until part 2 and another 2 years for part 3.

I don't get how people swallow the cruddy writing changes and act like it's either the same or an improvement. Like, do normal people not see why having President Shinra explain his personality to you in detail before he dies is far less effective than finding him dead after you had a failed face-to-face earlier in the game? Do they not get that kicking Reno's ass on the first try ruins the progression of the Turks from actually competent to goofballs? Do people not understand how the spending so much time in daytime slums ruins the atmosphere and tone of the story?

Wtf are you smoking the team working on the game as move on to other project and currently square as no intention to continu the venture and they are not currently working on anything evenrelated to ff7.So maybe 5 years bare minimum were graphic and gameplay will be obselete.
