nier is a shitty game user and youre basically retarded for liking it

DMC3. Played it to get hyped for 5 and man i sunk so much more time into 3.

Nier is a better game than Automata
Automata's plot and themes just felt like a retreading of the first game

>Yas Forums acting like a hipster as usual.
I'm hocked.
Nier is a mediocre game at best. Bland combat, boring quests, and insane grind.

God I can't wait for Replicant

We all know this fag but the story is kino.

>Insane grind
Fucking what?

>boring quests
>insane grind
Wrong

>Nier is a better book
OK.

I liked kichikou more than sengoku rance

>fallout 76 comes up
>hear it's shit
>decide to check out the classics
>download and play fallout 7
>amazes the shit out of me
>play it for almost 400 hours and finally beat it

Boring ass fetch quests and low drop rates.

I liked it too, the sense of loneliness was top comfy.
They'll probably ruin it with Wastelanders.

>fallout 7
a-user are you a time traveler

no user obviously if there's a fallout 76 then there's a fallout 7

>love xenoblade x
>get xenoblade 2 on release, like it but not as much
>decide to go back and play the older xeno games
>realize xenosaga 3 has the coolest and most well-realized scifi setting in vidya
I still prefer xbx overall, but damn was the art direction in xs3 perfect. I'm still hoping to find another game that strikes the same chord with me.

I think Automata's core gameplay and graphics are much better, but when it comes to all the reasons you play a Taro game (music, story, genre mashups, etc.) the original blows it out of the water.
>the forest that turns into a VN
>zelda-like puzzle dungeon in the sand area
>resident evil style mansion
>the top-down combat section
>the neat side-scrolling transition when entering buildings
By comparison, all Automata has are the hacking and scrolling shooter segments.

Pic related pretty much related as well
Dunno bruh I don't have OCD to lose my shirt over 100%ing a game

Resident Evils.
Everyone was raving about the remake of 2, so I gave the first one's remake a shot, and loved the hell out of it. Played 2, 3 and 4 later on, and had great time as well.
Kinda surprisingly, I didn't enjoy the Remake2 at all in the end. Felt clunky and rushed out. Haven't even tried Remake3 yet, as everyone says it sucks ass.

This.
t. played the whole series for the first time last year. My favorites are 1 and 3.

Congratulations on being a contrarian. You'll fit in wonderfully.

Unironically. This game BTFO all the shooters I've played in my life.

Portal 1 > Portal 2
Morrowind > Skyrim

The exact opposite for me, played Gestalt and Automata almost back-to-back and Automata is a huge improvement in practically every way.
2B ass memes aside, Automata's narrative is unironically more of a pleb filter than Gestalt's "DIDN'T KNOW THIS BOSS ACTUALLY HAD FEELINGS HUH DID YOU? NOW LISTEN TO EMIL'S SACRIFICE FOR THE HUNDREDTH TIME AND FEEL SAD!"

I like both A LOT but I enjoy the characters in gestalt more.

Nier is a bloody mess of a game, like every Yoko Taro title besides Automata, which is playable at least

Just beat it for the first time yesterday and got Ending A, how long is it gonna take me to get the other ones?
I've completed all sidequests and gotten all weapons already.

Not long. You replay the second half of the game and it can take maybe 1-2 hours if you know what you're doing and where to go.

nier's gameplay isn't even that bad, I saw you niggers bitch about it for years then played it and it was fine

you just have to beat the second half again which you can do pretty fast, don't skip cutscenes

I played it back in the day and left it unfinished when someone told me I had to replay the whole thing again. It was suffering enough the first time.

filtered

That's a relief, because i thought i'd have to replay the entire game again.

Its called having standards user

>Fallout
>Fallout 2
>Fallout Tactics
>Fallout Brotherhood of steel
>Fallout 3
>Fallout New Vegas
>Fallout 4

huh. Gestalt as well. really looking forward to Replicant.

>Boy I never played Bioshock and this new one looks cool
>Oh hey let's play the 1st game first

Bioshock 1 is fucking great. Infinite has some cool elements but it was so boring in comparison.

Oh shit user, I played it like that on my first time. Let me tell you, completing everything on ending A was a mistake. Like the other user said, for ending B you play the second half of the game for new content, and that's okay.
But after that you get ending C, which is basically a repeat of ending B except a new choice at the very end of the game.
And then you do it again for ending D except you take the other option.
Now if you don't wanna get more spoiled, let me leave you with this piece of advice: don't rush the rest of the endings. With nothing else to do except go to the end, you will more than likely burn yourself out. At least that's what happened to me. If you left some side quests undone you could do those, or just have a day or two between different endings that should help.

I recently replayed Gestalt and paced myself better, had a blast and could enjoy the game more. I don't know why I originally rushed through the whole thing, but I personally regret that.
