depends on what your budget is.
everything is pricey as hell but i got the samsung odyssey a few weeks ago and it's been doing fine, the controllers kind of suck though
If you get WMR on sale, they go crazy cheap. Hand tracking is fine in front of the headset, but gets sketchy when you reach outside of the camera's view. Might be bad for something like Beat Sabre, but I have no first-hand experience with that game.
If you've used a high-end headset, WMR might seem shitty. If you're brand-new to VR, WMR will be awesome. Acer has no out-of-warranty support, FYI. Keep your receipt.
Any than you can afford. There are no good or bad headsets. Yes, even Vive Cosmos is okay, just overpriced.
With WMR and Vive you will be missing on finger tracking of any kind but that's the only downside.
love index
if you have a good pc / large area go for it
What is he playing?
Call of Dindu: Infinite Welfare
nothing, he's a model
black people can't use vr, not evolved enough, they get vr sick
LABO VR
>words words words
>I am very silly
Someone actually spent time to do this.
HTC Vive Cosmos
Unless you don't like inside out tracking, then the index
he does it for free
What are some good VR games I should try out when I finally find a headset to buy?
Sell me on VR user
>some good VR games
uhhh about that..
Don't do this to me, I know they exist
Even if there isn't a ton of them
Half-Life: Alyx
Half-Life 2
Half-Life 2 Episode 1

Honestly, I would fucking love playing through the Half Life series in VR, the first game too.
Hell, i'd love playing old FPS games in it too, like Doom n shit.
Recommendations out of the games I played.
Kinda meme:
>Beatsaber
>Superhot VR
>Space Pirates

Non-meme:

VR Games for this feel?
moss
Thanks a bunch, that looks like quite a few games worth trying out
Index = best but expensive
rift s = good value for money
quest = if you want something portable
Astro Bot is by far the best VR games I've played.
Here's your (you) but the Wii and VR are not even comparable.
Dobson-tier lecture
Fuuuuck I wanna buy a cosmos but they're so expensive in my country
Vr is a dead meme gimmick and is only fun for 30 minutes. You’ll seither do as 75% of VR users and sell it again or put it in the closet or you’ll be the renaming 25% and become a tranny in VR but then your probably already a closet fag.
get the oculus quest and virtual desktop.
If you have line-of-sight to your 5ghz wireless router you'll have no lag and still be wire-free so you're not tripping and ruining the experience. dont pay over $400 for anything yet, and get this used if possible.
I have a quest
get
the
quest
>no blade and sorcery rec
its by far the best melee combat game in vr and one of the best even in non vr
also highly moddable
Don’t listen to the quest shill
It’s fucking shit in every way and the worst Headset you could choose. Just buy a rift S and be done with it or better yet get a CV hej if possible. It’s still the best headset for the best bux
>WMR might seem shitty
seem is the right word. The quality on that fucking HP reverb high res screen none of the big boys can get even close in terms of screen door effect, that shit has virtually none
I was very tempted to get a HMD Odyssey+, but they're entirely discontiued and stupidly expensive now
every wmr headset is discontinued now apparently since wmr next gen is coming soon supposedly
Quest is okay. It's just not the best at anything, but good enough in all things it does. And it has the stand-alone capability which might matter to some.
