There isn't a single good RTS game alive with an active playerbase

>B bb but AoE2 and SC2
Neither are about strategy or even remotely good

C&C games are doing fine on CnCnet

>with an active playerbase

What's with this standard excuse for not having any friends that want to do anything with you?

>Neither are about strategy or even remotely good
B bb based

>Implying
All they want to do is play BRs, Hearthstone or Terraria
If you can't find a game within 30 minutes it's not active

What if they're terrible at video games

>If you can't find a game within 30 minutes it's not active

And if they don't ever want to play anything you want to play, they're not your friends.

What's a good RTS and is about strategy?

Then maybe you'd still enjoy showing them how to play a game you're good at.

Wargame desu ne

Why is OP always a fag?

Are you the kind of person who thinks Supreme Commander is a good game?

It's better than AoE but I wouldn't call it special

Are you the kind of person who thinks Supreme Commander is a bad game?

Are you the kind of person who can't read?

>AoE2
>not good
Literally kill yourself

Based. Fuck modern rts

>>B bb but AoE2 and SC2
>Neither are about strategy or even remotely good

You're just a dogshit brainlet.

>Age "micro>macro" of Empires is good.
Neck yourself. You're the same retards who left RTS for moba shit and only picked that garbage game because adds told you it was nostalgic and good.

You're literal cancer killing video games

But it's an almost exclusively tactical game? SC and AoE at least are predominantly strategic level, even if
1) you have to be really quite good to be able to make meaningful NOVEL strategic decisions, especially in the early game
2) there's a major mechanical aspect to them - that does admittedly introduce an element of "meta-strategy" of choosing strategies and tactics that work the best within the constraints of your limited mechanical ability and how to budget your APM, so in a sense it comes down to strategy anyway, but I do sympathize with a desire to be involved with "actual strategy" and not meta-strategy

RTS games don't need an active playerbase. I play Stronghold Crusader with my mates all the time and that game is fucking dead.

>Neither are about strategy or even remotely good
sure thing, bub.
forged alliance forever, then.

FAF is dead

THE GRANARY IS FULL, MY LORD

Imagine playing RPS shit

Saturation killed RTS
Too many games being released, and most of the playerbase still playing classics from late 90's and early 2000's

This.Going full Steam was fucking retarded

>Neither are about strategy or even remotely good
nigger

You have like 350 games to pick from already and you complain about how newer games aden't coming out? If the mainstream RPG genre was this oversaturated I wouldn't give a shit abt. anything else

wtf are you even on about retard

aoe2 is all about macro just because pro players do fancy micro sometimes doesnt mean shit, if you are economy is bad you will lose the game

and what does it matter anyways the game is fun

>The game is fun
>Doesn't realize economy is all micro
