i think its safe to say REmake3 was rushed out the door to be able to actually sell REsistance, because otherwise no one would have bought it. while now, you're forced to buy it with RE3 and thats why its 60 bucks.

Partially but I really think the main goal all along was 4. Lots of 4 is in 3 and Capcom still can't accept that 4 was a success because it was a cheesy Mikami game. They'll never stop chasing 4's success and hurting other games as a result.

Agreed, Nu-Carlos was alot better in the few scenes he had in Remake 3, while Ethan had a entire fucking game just for him and yet ended up like a cardboard.
Nu-Carlos is also the closest to a "Rambo" type of character.

As much as I am looking forward to a Rem4ke it's hard to see it being anywhere close to the original. RE4 is packed with so much content capcom is going to leave something out for sure. 2. After REmake3 post credit scene, I hoped we would get Code Veronica prequel centered around Chris ans Jill.
3. I love RE4 and always thought that it is still fresh until I played it yesterday after 10 years and it aged worse than I thought so don't mind a remake if done properly.

In the original he's well intentioned but a bit airheaded in the way he tries to help everyone he meets, which is what makes Ada like him in the first place, since despite her doing some obviously secretive shit he keeps trying to help her and usher her to safety before she runs off.

They could make a game between the events of 3 and 4 showing Chris, Claire, Jill and Leon bullying Umbrella. I belive the closest was Umbrella Chonicles, but they rushed through this idea, a game making a proper exploration of it could work pretty well.

Yeah I've heard of that game but, unfortunately its one of the Wii rails shooters. If they redid it properly as you said it would make more sense. I'm sure it would have good sales if they did the scenarios right. Would make more sense than rushing back into 4 imo
