The dub is decent in the remake but I really dislike Aerith and Tifa's voices so I went with sub. I really like Barrett's english voice though and Cloud is basically just an english version of the japanese voice.

The Japanese VA is extremely generic. Cloud's voice doesn't even suit him, it sounds like a random Japanese guy that found on the street. The English VA is amazing by comparison.

Unlike anime where the only thing animating is their mouth, FF7R has a lot going on in every scene and I feel I miss details.
Either in what they're saying or what they did during my sub reading. I've never had this problem with sub reading until this game
