The dub is decent in the remake but I really dislike Aerith and Tifa's voices so I went with sub. I really like Barrett's english voice though and Cloud is basically just an english version of the japanese voice.

Yeah, their body language doesn't mix well with the english voice acting, looks and sounds strange and unnatural.

Tifa's voice is too grown up for the character's mannerisms. Others aren't as bad

Why do they have to do the anime noises in the English dubs too? Always with "hueehh" and "huhhh?" every few seconds.

I tried playing with dubs first and the grunting was MUCH louder in english. Really cheesy and took me out of it
