I saw videos of dusk and it looks okay.
I think newer games have turned me into a graphics fag though, I know games like dusk and ion fury are probably fun as hell but they look like fuckin shit to me, visually that is.
Along with nuDoom and nuWolf, nuShadow Warrior is also another game that I've played the shit out of, slicing through demons with a katana never looked so good.
