Laws are dumb in A but you can ignore them more easily in A2.
I used to be of the opinion that A and A2 were both shit and FFT is the only good tactics game, but I replayed A2 recently and I actually 100%ed it and had a blast doing so. A2 is a lot more polished than FFT, for better and worse.

It just ended. That's it, no real ending, no character development, no decent climax or really anything, it just ended.
