Contours of her body are definitely more noticeable than in the original naughtydog games. She didn't noticeably change until Crash Nitro Kart.
By aging her up, it'd make her consistent throughout the rest of whatever the rest of the series will have. Cartoonish characters tend to never visibly age. The real question is whether they'll keep her overalls and undershirt or if they'll steer her back to having jeans and a crop top.

I like the overalls, it really fits her dorky and cute character traits. I really think VV and Beenox nailed her design as well as Cortex and everyone else for that matter.
I think Crash could have used a little more love though, I'm not crazy about his dumbass blabbering. I've seen newer renders like pic related where he looks even better than in N. Sane and CTR:NF

only complaint I have about the n.sane designs is that they kept cortex yellow.
he wasn't yellow until wrath of cortex and we all know how poorly that panned out.
Sure he had a bit of a yellow tint to his skin but he's a fucking lemon now.
They nailed everyone else visually; some of the voice direction is a bit off. While Tawna unfortunately got a bust downgrade, she still looks pretty good. Design wise she's now more like a Lola Bunny rather than a Jessica Rabbit.
