The main message of Death Stranding is the player should go outside and experience nature...

Sam looks really happy to see this terrorist.
Non lethal guns are the perfect weapon in this game, you could try to balance them by lowering their damage but even then they would stay THE weapon to use at the detriment of all others. Sadly they have to go. Their color scheme isn't as good as the lethal ones anyway.
Grenade launcher can stay because it feels so good to use.

I totally recommend it but be aware that this is eurotruck simulator + civil engineering and that there is nothing else here, that's what you'll be playing.

Death Stranding is just another generic "Chosen one has a tragic destiny" plot but it's dressed up in a lot of other filler and side detail rubbish.

Like all of Kojima's work once you peer past the fat the basic fundamental plot is no different than a cheap soap opera drama. Kojima has lofty ideas but has no idea how to turn them into a real narrative so he doesn't really try.

what would you change about the story?

I'll check out the pc version, but im not spending a dime

Remove the extinction entity shit and replace it with anything, ANYTHING that isn't 'chosen one with bad destiny and is my sister oh no'

Same i would have stayed grounded since the story of Cliff/John which is not very supernatural ends up very good.

>not very supernatural
>Clifford is literally a ghost
????

Ghost things happen but at its core it's a story about humans doing human shit to each other.
Same with Mama, the ghost part is only dressing up what's happening.

Everything is caused by afterlife fucking leaking, the game is very supernatural at the core, it all revolves around the beach
