The fact that they have a little tutorial notification pop up after you see this reminding you to shoot the limbs completely ruins the moment.

I know its probably just so they could have a sick dismemberment system but is there ever a reason given for why shooting the limbs is more effective? I suppose the human brain isn't used anymore but then you'd think body shots would make more sense to try and damage the Necromorph brain

Like two different people radio you to tell you to shoot the limbs too in addition to the tutorial prompt
I'm sure they just had some cold playtesters off the street that just kept on facemashing out torso and headshots and they were like fuck it scorch the earth
