Who was responsible for Tiny Kong's redesign?
And why?
Who was responsible for Tiny Kong's redesign?
who the fuck is timmy tong
The same person who designed Candy Kong I guess
Someone at PAON and Nintendo never bothered to ask questions because they don’t care.
Rare was asked about it a few years ago when they were working on Diddy Kong Racing DS and they said they had to follow Nintendo’s orders.
How can Dixie ever compete?
By not being a whore.
>It was confirmed in Rare’s Scribes that Nintendo was the one that decided to change her design. Although her redesign makes her appear older than her elder sister Dixie Kong, in Japan this relationship was never officially stated, which may explain the radical change in design. They have never been referred to as sisters since Donkey Kong 64.
RARE redesigned Tiny with a larger design for Diddy Kong Racing DS to replace Banjo (who is not in the game).
Nintendo/Paon
Hey! I can answer that, my name is Chris, the new designe was dean smith idea, but the final one was made by a chick called Keri, she wanted to make her look like her young sister, also, dean was slightly worried that people would make jokes about spanking their monkeys.
>come closer and I'll teach you how to play your instrument
What did Rare mean with this?
I feel rare always wanted to make something like Conker
me
muh dick
It's a little sad that no one besides Diddy, Dixie, Funky and Cranky showed up in the new games
the remake had cut Conker and Banjo since they were well defined Rare characters and they wanted to keep this a Nintendo property, after the DK debacle ages ago after the split I think Nintendo doesn't want any grey area of Rare property rights.
As why they designed her like this I can honestly think it's because they wanted to differentiate Tiny from Dixie, since Tiny and Chunky were made to replace Kiddie and Dixie in the first place.
He looks fine in-game but the remake's promotional art for T.T. looks fucking crazed
Candy gave me a monkeygirl fetish
Since Rare were so involved with the first few DK games, I heard dropping them as well as the Kremlins were an attempt to keep Nintendo's brand integrity
>Who was responsible for Tiny Kong's redesign?
Yas Forums
>And why?
Because one day some horny fuckers thought it would be funny.
fuckey the monkey
Fucky Kong
There was this old drawing of Original Tiny touching the super mushroom and becoming new Tiny, does anyone still have that?
Holy shit, DS Tiny's design really is a product of its time.
She looks like a generic gringa teen from a generic gringo sitcom from Disney.
>Sandals
>Crop top
>That nail color
>The sweatpants
>The color of both the top and pants
coomers
not sure but im guessing they just made her older and taller? eh. we'll never see another dk64 game so i dont even give a shit anymore.
Man I wish girls actually dressed like that
Rare. Likely because Tiny was originally meant to be a redesign for Dixie which Nintendo was against. I guess they were fine with this new design for Tiny since she was so similar to Dixie.
The old version was honestly cute in a lovey-dovey sort of way.
they actually did back in the day, zoomer
>1
>Okay, I can see donkey Kong finding that attractive
>2
>Those are some big tits for a gorilla
>3
>I wanna fuck that ape
I always thought the joke with Tiny was that she looks like a stoner. I figured the redesigned just rolled with that idea.
