It was just too on the nose to be interesting desu. Not even that it was too extreme, just that there was no smart to it. Not going into depth with it, not trying to make you realize anything or surprise you. And they didn't manage to make it funny either. It was so boring. Everything was so mild with this game.

Too short. FWIW I thought it was good but there wasn't much to do and a lot of character archetypes would do a lot of things the same way. Good, evil, smart, dumb, whatever. A lot of the game was just the same. That said it didn't leave a bad taste in my mouth like recent Bethesda stuff has, thank goodness I decided FO4 was the last time I'd give them money or I would've been one of the saps who bought FO76. It's a damn shame what they've become but it's par for the course these days.

People were desperate for a Fallout alternative. Some of the Galaxy brains which made the original fallout, made this bland, forgettable, pozzed game. Nobody was satisfied for very long so it’s completely forgotten.

It even didn't really. Female characters were toothless as fuck. Everything was bland and absolutely played safe so that nothing could upset anyone playing. They even made Parvati asexual while simultaneously making her horny for female chief engineer to create one of the most boring and inoffensive lesbian romances ever.

I played in on Games for Windows by paying a $1 subscription for the first month. Was still too much for Outer Worlds

Things, I like about it:
>Slow Motion is fine alternative to VATS
>Two Handed melee is pretty fun; especially any weapon that has a knockdown effect
>Instead of doing anymore shitty quests on the last planet, I just kill everyone and the game lets me get away with it
That's about it, really.

There wasn't anything I really hated either; it's a very inoffensive game and in the worst way.
The setting had potential and I like how the big crisis of the setting is actually rather mundane, but Obsidian can't write a compelling narrative because they play everything so damn safe.
