New update, you can transfer dlc to an ad card, how come they didn't do this in the first place?

Button remapping should be standard

But this is nintendo, so it's ok.

Where are folders or the ability to manually arrange games you FUCKS?

>storage transfer

hallelujah

What other console has button remapping or ever has as a system feature? This is the first I'm aware of.

>controller button remapping
Does that mean I can finally swap the X and Start button for XBC2? Or does it apply for every fucking game?

It's for every game.

this will undoubtedly fuck up homebrew for at least a month

I just checked out the button remapping and it seems kind of gay. Not sure what I'd ever use that for. You can't even swap the left stick and the d-pad.

Being able to transfer everything to and from an SD card is good though. Might finally try to grab one.

Awesome. I can finally disable hard drops on tetris.

PSVita cause is the only one I actaully bothered to search for.
Maybe PSP too

You can't transfer save data tho, and some content can't be transferred.

>ad card
Great, more crap to buy.

Vita and PS4 both do out of the box.

Cool, can we get a revamped eShop now? The current layout was fine for when the Switch had less than 100 games, but now it's really shit and makes searching for things really a fucking nightmare.
>can't filter by genre
>can't filter by developer
>too much indieshit everywhere
>you either have the name of the game or fuck you

playing AC and Odyssey with gamecube controller

>You can't transfer save data tho, and some content can't be transferred.

WTF why not?

just click the developers name on the store page of one of their games and you get shown everything else they have up

still no solution for filtering by genre

Fuck that, I'm not updating shit during quarantine, my stupid TV is also bugging me about needing a system update for about a week now. I'm not risking getting a fucking bricked device while I'm stuck 24/7 at home.

>he didn't already have an SD card
Amazon has sales on 256GB ones that bring them down to like 20 bucks pretty regularly

>Not sure what I'd ever use that for.
I'm not ashamed to admit I'm mustard race and initially A to confirm and B to cancel fucked me up. Nintendo's control scheme has the buttons backwards compared to Xbox controller. I still constantly have to look down to figure out if the top button is X or Y.

>SD card
Not what he said you human.

If you're talking about Tetris99 that's been an option in the game itself since like a week after launch.

You can't just look at size with SD cards, read and write speeds are equally important.

Just do it, pussy.

Fuck yes. I super wanted to swap the functions of ZL and ZR for Tangledeep, and now I'll be able to do exactly that?
I wanted change the controls for Exit the Dungeon too.

you can get a 256GB microSD that exceeds Nintendo's own read/write speed recommendations for $40 right now, and for like $20 if you wait a few months for a sale

i'm mad that button remapping is something i have to get excited over now because retarded devs forgot how to allow remapping controller inputs after the ps2 was released

It's always been there, go to search then select Genre.

Yeah, 40 is about what I expected for a decent SD card. People throw around $20 too easily, like they're not referring to slow as fuck cards.

In game button remapping should be a standard for all games, but it's not. Using system wide remapping won't change in-game button prompts.

Why won't Nintendo allow me to manually organize my games?

>Letting people edit Pokemon saves on their computer from an SD on ANOTHER console
please

PS4 has had it for years

Themes?

thank god, now I have a reason to take out my wii u and enjoy some fucking pad time again. I missed my old wife

Your average SanDisk Ultra (U1) is already good enough for Switch games and is dirty cheap. Even the Extreme versions (U3) are constantly on sale for less than 40 bucks.

>NOOOOOOOOOOOO I SHOULDN'T BE FORCED TO USE THE BUTTONS THE DEVS INTENDED, I SHOULD BE ABLE TO MAP JUMP TO L3 AND ANALOG MOVEMENT TO THE TRIGGERS
fucking braindead retard

If this button remapping thing works for Nes/Snes games, it is a game changer.

samsung evo or bust for me off amazon. they give the best price and speed.
.

Nope, no folders still either

does this mean I can play animal crossing with a GC controller and the button mapping won't be completely wrong?

I'm guessing it still won't work.

Why are you worried about a update (unless you cfw). Have you bricked a device in the past through an update?

>Configurations can be customized for the following controllers: Joy-Con (L), Joy-Con (R), Nintendo Switch Pro Controller. Button configurations can also be customized on the Nintendo Switch Lite system.
>This feature is not available for other controllers.

I hope they never add themes. People have shit taste and make their UI look terrible. I don't care if it's their system. I don't want to see any of those tacky themes pop up on Yas Forums or anywhere else.

Different color basic themes I'll accept.

please understand

You are the worst kind of fucking faggot.

Nah.

I may be in the minority, but for me this is a huge deal, just wanted to play mario 3 the way god intended
