When did you realize that ff7R was pure kino?

More or less during or after the Airbuster segment. Sure I am stil at 20 hours in but I don't think I would ever call this a bad game. Wall Market was pure original fanservice and it was awesome. About the gameplay the only character that feel boring to play is Barret, Aerith is surprisingly good on her own too.
Most people complain about the ending tho, so maybe I should wait to judge.

They were still working on the outline and details for it in June, then confirmed work had begun in like November or August.
FF13 released episodically with 2 years between releases. They've said FF7 should come out fast because they have the assets and engine for a lot of it obviously, but if they're going to make the releases bigger than last time it could be longer than those 2 years.
I've heard people expect maybe 3 but not 5 or 6 again but it's all just guessing.
Whether or not all the parts will be on the same systems seems unlikely, and not being able t ocarry over save data is a worry for some people for that reason.
We're in for long waits though. All together it might be fucking 6-10 years until the full, finished game is released and you could get it in one likely expensive package. Depends how many parts they do wind up doing and how long they take. Wouldn't want them to rush them either but that just means it will take longer as well. This episodic bullshit sucks.
