I beat it on UV the week it came out lol. It's a good game but it has genuine flaws. Don't take this thread as a personal attack.

Actually, Carcass is okay. Abuse his distance shields by blowing them up in crowds of other demons with the plasma gun.

I actually like these guys and the shield zombies, they are basically free bombs

I tended to use the regular shotty with sticky bombs except for situational uses of other weapons so it was ice grenades for me.

they are not annoying you just have to know how to- counter them

Frag is really good but ice is too, gives you literal free health, plus has added value because everything you freeze stops trying to kill you for a while. Ice is maybe better overall. Ice + 2frag combo probably godlike.

The trick is to stand 10 metres away. He'll throw one laser then do a mad sprint that leads into a melee every time.

I always see this comment about the Marauder. Is there a bigger cope out there then complaining about an enemy that allegedly isn’t hard for you to beat?

You can recognize them by the different color and the spikes.
Also once you get the SSG, they become walking +30 armor pickups. It's literally a no-brain-required move because the hook aims itself and the prowler can't move or teleport while hooked.
By the way, you can do the exact same thing with the regular imps, so it's helpful to think of them as one enemy type and just mentally associate them with the SSG.

I just really enjoyed nuking the shit out of everything in the area with dual frags so I can focus on the bigger enemies.
Once I get it on my PC, I will definitely combo them. With a controller, its difficult to manage the constant weapons and equipment switching that higher-level players get up to.

I probably just struggle to get the distance just right, but it seems to barely do any damage. I liked it way more in 2016 when it could hit twice. Now I'd rather spam sticky bombs against Marauders and the Gladiator.

The amount of times I got into trouble because I thought I have the ice bomb equipped but actually it was the frag was not worth the extra damage it offers. I just switched to the ice bomb and bound "switch grenade type" to something out of reach.

why the fuck didnt you buy it for PC from the git go?
