>get drone tech
>automate everything
>build and play like a strategy game

simple as

Yes, if you're sitting still you're doing it wrong. There's always something behind and you're always running to speed it up

>cheat
>no longer have to play the game
Good plan user, just really brilliant.

I still wish it was just overhead strategy/sim game controls instead of having to run around as this little retard

>automating things in a game about automating things is cheating

Yes you will have to be running around

Get filtered beltfag

>cheat
how is that cheating?

Beltniggers don't like the fact that they become obsolete for most of the shit once drones are out

but you can do that in the game, just git gud
but why beltniggers want to stay with the belts and not become automated Drone Chads?

>but you can do that in the game, just git gud
How?

They love the spaghetti
Plus it's an additional layer you need to be aware of when designing your base, drones mitigate that
It's not really that big of an issue with megabases where you would still probably use belts and drones depending on circumstances or in some modded playthroughs, but drones can be considered an "easy mode" of sorts. I disagree with that, I think it's mostly a QoL feature

you build a factory that produces Robotports, electric poles, logistic and construction drones and then you just play it like a strategy game because the drones do everything for you

There's a mod for that actually. It starts you with a roboport and tweaks a game a little so you can expand easier

mods.factorio.com/mod/Braver_New_World

lol n00b shit

the belts are fun too but with drones it feels like you upgraded your entire factory and moved it to an entire new level. you can expand faster and get more resources and kill more of these bugs

that's the game
you can stop playing once shuttle launches have been automated

Yes, early game while you still have to use coal is annoying. Also I hate everything to do with oil.

Based

you guys playing krastorio 2?

You're obsolete, oldman.

...

Didn't get far, picrelated is quite old screenshot tho
Wanted to go for island map this time with heavy usage of ships, but the space is really staring to get tight

Yes.

At first yeah. Once you have ti figured out though its not bad. The game is actually really comfy if you turn down the aliens a bit. I wouldn't disable them though, that makes things boring.

Game's boring. Play Rimworld instead.

Rimworld is just poor mans Prison Architect, play that instead

rimworld is shit

Your mom rimmed my world

Yeah bout to start doing stuff with imersite. It's been fun trying to figure out new blueprints for pretty much everything since recipes are different compared to vanilla game. Wish there was more reasons to craft different gases because right now the only I'm doing is hydrogen for mining raw metals. Maybe I need ammonia, nitric acid and the likes later, but for example biomethanol seems completely useless to use as an energy source since sonar panels are just as easy to make as they were in vanilla, and space is hardly an issue in factorio.

Belts are never obsolete, the game is retarded at assigning bots to tasks.

>solar
for me its nuclear power

They are not similar in any way except artstyle, which Tynan just ripped off
