PIRACY IS DEAD.
DENUVO WON
PIRACY IS DEAD
tl:dr?
>PIRACY IS DEAD.
parroting the same slogan since '85. see you in 30 years for another recap
Hackers are basically throwing in the towel. It's too much work, there's no automation, they have no money, and the cracks are mostly unstable.
>pirating games in 2020
you can't seriously be that poor, right?
...
I don't see an issue with just pirating current or older games, but I think it's good that it's finally down.
only one at loss here is the dev since nobody will play his shitty game that ruins your drives
>buying video games anytime in the last 15 years
you can't seriously love casinos and cash shops that much, right?
>paying for bloatware
I'd rather just not play at all
It's not like there's a single good game using Denuvo anyway
Reminder that the creators of denuvo are the same guys behind the 2001 sony rootkit
Just bomb Denuvo HQ?
If you can't bother cracking the DRM just kill the people who make the DRM.
When you pirate, you create a market where the only paying customers are those too stupid to figure it out, and that's who gets catered to. You've ruined everything.
One oldfag throws in the towel looking back at his pathetic life, another 16y old kid will pick up the towel.
There is much drive behind autism, real-life puzzles and possibly internet fame
All the good Denuvo games have been cracked anyway
ELON OR BILL GATES PLS
The only real issue is that these denuvo games will not be archived and become forever lost if they are never cracked. Not so bad really as most games that feel the need to use it are just "franchise game 20xx" and will be superseded by their own just different enough to legally count as a new game sequels.
If you think piracy is the cause of lowest common denominator game design/philosophy, you are painfully ignorant of this phenomenon in other mediums
>top half of thumbnail is white
>bottom half is green
how does this "kill" piracy?
dennuvo was uncrackable five years ago, it didn't stop people from playing their favorite titles
>you are painfully ignorant of this phenomenon in other mediums
No, it happens there too.
>playing old games
It does, but not because of piracy. The music industry for example already handled piracy, way way more people just pay for music streaming than pirate all their music. Yet the trend towards simplified, dumbed down, easy to churn out products is still there.
>Yet the trend towards simplified, dumbed down, easy to churn out products is still there.
Because black people didn't have internet or kazaa when piracy first began, so everything started aiming that way, and you wound up with a music industry aimed at old people, blacks, and wiggers.
You cant just download a bomb
>one person among literal thousands that crack games says they aren't throwing in the towel but are asking for donations because it's harder to do nowadays
>logic.exe has stopped responding
>"HAH! GOT EEM! PIRACY IS DEAD! NOW NOBODY CAN PLAY MY SWITCH GAMES!"
No idea what you’re on about, but it has nothing to do with the point I’m making. People like what they’re familiar with, and don’t want to be challenged too much by what they consume, that’s why this is a trend in things from books, movies, games, music, whatever. Doesn’t have anything to do with piracy, that’s what I was pointing out
IT'S NOT FAIR, BROS
Is this Empress again? Fuck that guy. He's trying to implement sob stories into his crack notes to build funding via paypal/bitcoin. Don't listen to a single bit of shit they say. CPY/Codex will probably have this shit cracked in a month or two.
>B-B-BUT WHAT ABOUT RDR2?!?!?!
Different DRM.
Oh surely the morally superior, alpha ,chad gamers who only pirate on principle and definitely not because they're third world apes who would have to save for a decade to be able to purchase a game at 90% because they're dirt fucking poor niggers will support this person
Rise up pirates, we all know it has never been a monetary issue and that you simply pirate because you stick it to the big companies
Donate your money, that you definitely have, to your noble cause
Yeah, I get what you're saying, it's just wrong. There are plenty of people willing to consume and be exposed to new things, but when they started selecting themselves out of the market, the market stopped looking for them. We've had mass market trash since the beginning of time, but we also had products aimed at the group that didn't want that, and those have been made near impossible to find, or even create, in the last twenty or thirty years.
>CPY/Codex
user...they're dead.
Why don't you get a job and pay for your video games like me?
You have to remember that this board is overwhelmingly twelve, especially since the quarantine brought on a summer unending, so most of these people have never worked, and literally only have the money they receive at Christmas/birthdays to sustain them. It's why they get so angry at $0.99 DLC, it requires a credit card, and Mom won't give it up.
I would say that you're right, but it's mor elike you should be right.
There are almost no genuine reverse-engineers left. It's all script kiddies with little understanding of genuine reverse-engineering.
OP is a fuckwad though.
>implying my PC isn't $4000 worth of parts and that i would donate so much as a single penny to a starving game cracker because 'fuck you got mine, i'll take my cake (for free!) and eat it for free too?'
are you even american?
I do pay for video games except ones with Denuvo. You fucking kike shill faggot.
