Legion is a meme character. Very one dimensional but with the appearance of depth. Don't ask him about the billions of quarian civilians the geth killed. Don't ask him about the geth killing Council ambassadors afterward. Don't ask him about the last 300 years of geth hostility towards organics. Don't ask him why the geth didn't even attempt to warn anybody about the heretics or Reapers. Don't ask him why the geth stand to fight their creators if they try to take back their homeworld, claim to want peace, but then refuse to just leave the area so the quarians can have back a world they need for survival that the geth don't even use.
Oh right, you can't grill Legion about any of this.

They absolutely did though. Sure you can't really blame them for their actions in the Morning War, they gained "consciousness" under assault and did what was necessary to protect themselves from the Quarians, but after that point yeah they did some shit wrong.

Except a huge chunk of the Geth (the "Heretics") joined the Reapers prior to that. The "True Geth" allowed this Heretics to go off unmolested and they proceeded to attack organics. Additionally they refused contact with organics for centuries and never tried to do an iota of diplomacy.
The geth did plenty wrong, this issue (like all other major issues) is one of nuance not "THEY GOODBOIS" or "OY VEY, REMEMBER THE 20 TRILLION QUARIANS, KILL ALL GETH"
