it's worth pirating

I heard its pretty good, but I refuse to buy any early access games

>Do you like Warband?
Yes
>Are you okay with a fantastic core but lots of unfinished features?
Yes
>Are you a Mordhau/Chivalryfag who mainly cares about the multiplayer?
No
>Do you expect all the features of the most advanced Warband mods?
Not yet

Then yes it’s worth it

Unironically no.

>pirating an early access game that gets constant updates

Yeah, I personally have 100+ hours in it already. I'm terrified of what'll happen to me when we start getting TC mods like Geko and Pendor though since that's where most of my Warband time was.

I've had a lot of fun so far but I'd wait if I were you. At least wait for a major patch before buying. The game is unbalanced and missing a lot of the 'social' aspect which was what I liked the most about Warband (feasts, talking with lords, dedicating tournament wins to ladies)

When is the LOTR mod gonna be ready? I’ll buy it then

>only waiting 20 minutes to an hour tops for said updates
it's not that hard to be a pirate unless you're a retard.

Mine was mostly napoleonic wars I wonder if they’ll do NW2 since holdfast exists

The fantasy mods are going to be brutally amazing

Not hard, just tedious

Speaking of brutal it's been like two weeks and the modding tools aren't even out yet and some autist on Nexus has figured out how to make decapitations

>dragging and dropping
>applying xdelta patch
>tedious
you're probably american

No, i've had too many campaigns come to an abrupt end due to game crashing bugs that end up making the save unplayable, however if you don't mind potentially save-ending bugs like that than by all means get it. The combat alone places it above Warband, i actually tried to play Warband again last night just too see if i was being too harsh on the combat and holy hell no i was not.

I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who wasn't a passionate M&B fan before it, if you haven't bought it yet you're unlikely to be one. Just wait for the full release, too much unfinished atm.

just curious but what your RAM. I have 16gb and haven't experienced a single crash. Not saying
>just buy a better computer goi, that will fix the game
just want to see whether low RAM is the main cause behind crashes

This, the game sucks and is completely unplayable, crashing is like breathing with this game

Not him but the game appears to get increasingly unstable after Day 1000, I've had one save file where it always crashes on 1000 even if I reload an earlier save and another on 1054 with the same situation
Both of those are extremely late game though and I suspect the primary reason it hasn't been fixed is because almost nobody plays that long on one file and it doesn't always happen, some people in /mbg/ have 1400+ days

I have literally not crashed once since I bought the game

I have 60 hours played absolutely zero crashes.
My set-up is like 5 years out of date too

The bugs i've gotten have nothing to do with the amount of RAM. Just shoddy coding. My most recent save-ending bug was one where i was sent a companion out to do a quest, but the time remaining goes into the negative and eventually will crash the game once companion comes back.

>inb4 le CPU on fire
Speccy doesn't read AMD cpu temps correctly.

is there like a skirmish mode command?

>every day check if the patch is out yet
>manually find it
>manually download it
>manually install it
>not tedious
I bet you’re retarded

Why use Speccy at all retard

Becauase i'm too lazy to downnload HWinfo.

Yep, definitely american.

>retarded cavalry AI barely getting kills because they are retarded and not working properly
>charge an archer line with 50 horsemen and the vast majority of archers are still standing even though my cavalry are top tier units and the archers were the lowest archers possible in the faction, barely any takedowns happened at all
Fucking hell.

>every day check if the patch is out yet
>manually find it
>manually download it
>manually install it
are americans really this lazy over something that takes less than a minute?

Literally yes

If you've never played Warband then get this one.
Otherwise if you have then it has much less content right now, and having played Warband you know full well it wasn't the most content-rich game ever.

I'm liking the beta version so far. Your character levels a bit faster. Seems to run a little better on my potato. The characters look thick.

Not that I've found. I've been manually commanding moving my archers.

That map with the wooden fort extension for defenders and secret gate on the left near the siege tower is shit, its easy to backcap and if you spawn in the front you cant get back inside without opening the gates

do tell, senpai

We live in an age where the current generation cannot make up its own fucking mind and need help with everything, even something as simple as getting a video game.
"Should I get this?", "What am I in for?", "What do I do now?"

Try trusting your instinct for one fucking second in your life and make a decision without weighing in with the goddamn internet first. No advice you'll get here will fucking help you, with so many people enjoying it and the few who doesn't being a loud minority.
