I didn't get a single egg during my hour of the fishing tourney. I also notable had zero egg spawns at the pier for the entire event duration. My theory is that the update added a few 'no egg' fishing zones but I never corroborated.

i think it would have went over better if there was more unique furniture to be crafted. Having everything egg-themed is very polarizing. Would have been cool to see more rabbit or spring scandinavian furniture for this event. Maybe a cool spring windmill or something.

I grinded all the way to 300 points while only using bait for the first time (as it really isn't worth it for the tourney) and I got maybe 3 or 4 eggs over the whole thing. I think the tourney reduced the chance of water eggs, but being able to catch them at all during it really sucked.

So glad I am free from the curse of eggs. No more wondering if that balloon in the breeze is another dumb egg, no more stone eggs instead of the stone I actually need, and no more digging up eggs instead of fossils.

Are there any details on exactly how Nook Miles island villagers are randomized? Several days in a row I've island hopped 10+ islands per day now and seen many of the same villagers the same day. Last friday I saw Octavian 3 times in a row, and yesterday I met some black kangaroo chick twice.

Are the villagers randomized in small pools of 10-20 villagers leaving you unable to get anyone outside of the pool on a given day? Or how does it work?
