It's almost certainly going to be a combination of Crysis remaster+Crysis 4. Maybe they'll remaster all C1/Warhead/2/3, but C1 is definitely happening. Don't expect a super fancy remaster, IMO, but it'll perform well, and have top notch lighting and shading and stuff.

Crysis 2 and 3 didn't have the same magic but were still landmark titles for graphics, especially on consoles, and especially Crysis 3 which is probably in the top 10 best looking games on 7th gen

Up to this point games where built to run off HDD's, which are much slower, hence devs had to "hide loading screens" and shit. Now everything will load much faster, no need to make the world "disappear" when the player is not looking at it. Building games for SSD's instead of HDD's is literally nextgen

At release it was 30 on PC unless you turned off a ton of graphical options, which damaged its reputation a fair bit. The gameplay is actually very good if you play it with a modern PC but playing it at 30 made it feel very unresponsive.

That's wrong, when you look at a direction, the stuff thats behind you is usually not rendered. So when you do a quick 180, stuff has load in first so textures etc. pop-in. With it being built with an SSD in mind, that no longer happens and it instantly loads everything.

The 2080ti already beat the consoles.
In 2024 there will be mid tier laptops trouncing the consoles.
