KH2

KH2
>We managed to meet our real selves and recombine... we'll always be together as long as Sora and Kairi are together...
KH3
>No actually we're back in different bodies now, I guess the happy ending above wasn't actually good enough for us

Why?

Roxas fanboys and fangirls, Tumblr tards too who wanted their "precious baby"to be fine cause "wahh he's so tragic"

KH2 was pre-xion though...

Because that's the only reason people still care about KH2.

Oh such happy times~
But then tragedy!
Wahh wahh I want the happy times back

KH2 ending was so perfect as well

then you had KH3 which is essentially a sequel to all the side games

This.
Xion is for Roxas and Namine is for Riku.

I'm just glad Roxas came back at least he got shit done
>default form is dual wielding
>friends are vastly superior to Sora's

because fanservice

That's why it was so much better. Xion is shit and didn't need to exist.

Days happened before KH2 though.

Because Sora himself thought that was BS. Remember DDD when Roxas said to Sora that they were one? Sora got very upset and said that Roxas is him and deserves to be his own person.

nomura has 'tism

>We managed to meet our real selves and recombine... we'll always be together as long as Sora and Kairi are together...
I always saw this as Roxas accepting his fate once... you know, he couldn't change it anymore. He made it VERY clear at every step early on that he wanted to be his own person. Heck when you do the Sora vs. Roxas fight it's because Roxas is TRYING to be his own person again

Sora wasnt happy with a compromise.

Honest, KH3 is the end for me.

I really enjoyed the gameplay and the story by what it is, a truly above average game in terms of soundtrack, graphics and gameplay but Nomura and SE truly departed from what made Kingdom Hearts 1, 2 and Chain of Memories special.

Kingdom Hearts BBS, Days and even, to lesser degree Re:Coded is where the series departed from being a focused series on a trio of character to a confused story in which more and more characters are added without any substance and more and more mysteries are set but not in the elegant way as the titles before.

Kingdom Hearts Union, the mobile game, is the epitome of what is wrong in the series in terms of strorytelling and characters.

The Kingdom Hearts ride was fun and the the time and money I have spent on the series was fantastic (I went to a Kingdom Hearts orchestra, bought some of the games etc) but it's time to let go, the same goes for FF VII ReMAKE which again, it's a truly above average game but a big departure from what people WANT and more than what SE wants to give to a minor and extremely voice community of hardcore fans.

So he was happy about it in kh2 and suddenly not happy about it in one of the spin offs?

The irony is that when he accepted his fate, Sora called bullshit and decided to defy it.

So what are your hopes for the future? I desperately want TWEWY please Nomura let me have this

>Xion is shit and didn't need to exist.
Not it‘s ok she existed. But she just shouldn‘t have comeback. Lea should be with isa and they could have a side game about getting the one girl back. Except for:
> sora riku kairi
>sora donald goofy
> ven, terra, aqua
>roxas, xion, axel
>axel, isa, ???
>riku, namine
> pence, olette, hayner + roxas
And now what? Nomura can‘t get all of them into kh4 so if they fight MoM, what will the others do. Didn‘t they learned anything from bleach or one piece?

No, Roxas accepted it but Sora refused it.

Almost, if not absolutely, nothing in kh is a spin off.

What the fuck am I reading? Is this the fanfic bogus you fangirls schlicked over for 10 years?

I mean, he only accepted his fate because he kinda had no choice. I absolutely see what OP is getting at, but I think that Sora wanting Roxas to be his own person is totally reasonable

Sora literally WASN'T happy about it in KH2. He expressed as much. Roxas was fine with it but Sora said "fuck that".

He can (not) be stopped.

Why does KH story have to be so convoluted?

Nomura needs to be reigned in, for the good of all.

Reminder

OG trilogy: kh1 - CoM - kh2
Fan service series: BBS - Days - Coded - 3D - KH3

To be completely honest I think that KH is way more enjoyable with the convoluted story.
Imagine how boring it'd be if the Heartless were just bad guys led by Big Heartless Man and everything was surface-level. I dunno, it sounds less than exciting to me

everything after kh2 is not canon. kh1 > com > kh2, that's it. and that's already pushing it desu

faaaaaag

So KH1? Which is widely considered to have the best story in the series?

The day I stop enjoying KH is the day it manages to hit the same level of Kino as Radiant Silvergun's final boss, because I know they could never possibly top it.

2006 femcels were different
Com isn't better than anything

But that's literally not how the plot of KH1 was, the Heartless were even led by Anime Man with motivations.
I understand you're trying to shitpost, but it's not very effective

It's completely out-of-character for Sora to accept that Roxas and Naminé would be stuck inside his and Kairi's hearts forever.

Brevity is the soul of wit. Now go back to the faggot board.

>I went to a Kingdom Hearts orchestra
tell me more user

>So KH1?
In KH1, heartless are a completely independent, mindless, destructive force that follow whoever has the most power. They're not just lackeys.
>Which is widely considered to have the best story in the series?
KH1 has the best story not because of the plot points but because it's the least poorly paced. Every KH game past one has a really bad habit of shoving all meaningful character development/plot development into the first few and last few hours of the game.

I genuinely cannot fathom how can people like and defend KH3, it's the biggest insult I've ever seen in games
>build up lore with several of games over the years
>finally reach the "climax"
>sora aimlessly wanders through disney ads to find a power he already had the whole time
>all the OCs get put in line on a shitty boss rush
>all the good guys are now jobbers and all their development gets thrown aside for sora to beat their respective enemy with the power of friendship
It's the most awfully forced ending in any game, it loses immersion and rather than getting excited about reaching the climax all you feel is disappointment seeing how forced and rushed it is
and on top of that
>secret ending and the plot from now relies heavily on a phone game

Ye

>Brevity is the soul of wit.
ANYONE, and I mean ANYONE who uses this quote unironically is a fucking retard.

>My idea would be better because I said so
Stop sperging out at someone not agreeing with you

based and truthpilled

They all god bodies that were basically blank clones because Dymex is a nigger and Nomura does coke in the break room

fact:
KH3>KH2

I like KH3 because I only played 1 and 2 and watched BBS on Youtube

*dabs*

>sora aimlessly wanders through disney ads to find something
That's KH1 and KHII also

>all this cringe
I like KH3 for the combat alone. Data org bosses were top notch. Imagine giving a shit about the story after 2.

Don't forget:
>conclusion to a decade-long saga ends
>it's disappointing but hey at least we get a conclu-
>sora fades away
>see you in KH4 to find out what happened!
Why the fuck did it end in a cliffhanger

Attached: 47616219_p30.jpg (807x500, 118.27K)

But the story is much more staightforward and simple even just comparing it to 2
Ansem was just a twist villain who popped up at the end Maleficent, and her council were the main antagonists for 90% of the game
And Ansem was just a scientist who was corrupted by darkness, not some half clone of an amnesiac who was actually a guy possessed by an evil Keyblade master who stole the name of the real Ansem

KH2 fm is so much better than KH3 it's not even funny

More so than people who like these fanfics? KH1 was a simple story of friendship and kept your intrigued with hints of mystery.

KH2's ending was fucking stupid even at the time.
Roxas and Namine knew each other for like five minutes.

>Base game
KH1 > KH2 > KH3
>Data/Optional Bosses
KH3 > KH2 > KH1 except for Kurt Zisa, that fight surpasses most of KH2's shit
>VFX
KH1 > KH3 > KH2
>Music
KH2 > KH1 > KH3
>Gummi Ships
KH2 >>> KH3 >>>>>>>>>> KH1

Ok speedrunning tranny

>More so than people who like these fanfics?
Absolutely, because at least the people who play these games know the context of what they're talking about most of the time. Anyone who uses "Brevity is the soul of wit" to prove a point has never once read the script that line is from.

I think BBS is okay if you treat it as standalone, instead of what Nomura turned it into with tons of players demanding everyone come back for the good ending.
Days is stupid but the Roxas interacting with Luxord and others in the lounge was the best part.
DDD is when I thought it was too much. Nobodies developing their own hearts is fine, cause Roxas and Xemnas clearly had feelings, but the people being revived because both Heartless and Nobodies died is stupid.
