Remember the conversation with Tifa were she told us that Aerith probably had a lot of plans for her future and didn't want to die? That made me tear up. All of that is lost when Aerith is fine with her fate and can even come back and visit Cloud in ghost form and is ruinted with Zack like we saw in AC.
