Mostly been replaying games, finally did a run of Devil May Cry with a fresh start on DMD. As LDK

Alyx but was gonna beat that anyway. Burning through the backlog in between doing other shit as best I can.
I have ~83 games left out of approx 545 between all my launchers on PC. I just don't want to have a backlog of owned games anymore, I just want to reach 0 games left so from then on it's just picking up a game and playing it immediately rather than it getting buried under all the other games.

On the plus side backlog burning has taught me sometimes games are just not worth it, don't waste your time on a hobby that already eats a lot of time, just move on if a game is not fun (providing it's meant to be fun). I fired up Hello Neighbour for the first time just an hour ago, played for ~30 mins and didn't know what to do, so I looked up what I had to do to get started "wtf how was I suppose to figure that out", dropped the game into the 'Finished' pile and moved on.

none, this just exposed how lonely I was without any real connections; how could I play a video game like that?

I haven't played a video game since 2015

New Ori game - 7/10
Sekiro - absolute trash for redditors that have never completed a fromsoft game
Hollow Knight - 8/10
DMC V - 9/10
Now finishing octopath traveler, it's pretty but you can clearly see they don't have a clue on what made old JRPGs good, the content is too streamlined and there are barely any missables.

oh I also did the Gnome Run for Alyx, wanted too since I did it for L4D2 and HL2Ep2

You need to leave.

missables are shit, no game should have them

>missables make jrpgs good
imagine believing this

No

Is it? I've been playing kung-fu and pac-land and have wondered if zonk was worth the time.

Kung-Fu on game B is fucking bullshit, incidentally.

Also been playing Pavlov and superhot vr

I started playing code vein, I also started playing the halo collection and I started playing ff7r. I also re picked up dragon quest 11 after droping it.

haven't finished anything yet

I got a crazy license on crazy taxi with gus without using the bike

honestly kinda feeling that too, everyone not being allowed out revealed how little I go out, and how little I'm thought of by my friends.
It's a toxic hole to fall into when you start thinking down that path user, keep improving yourself, that's the best path forward.

I've been grinding a lot in Let It Die.

None, FFXII is fucking long and I've been playing other games too.

I've been getting a shit ton of ads for this. Has anyone played it or watched the anime? I like card games but damn does this look like it has all the makings of a money-sucking mobile game.

>I play games where maximizing execution consistency in an inherently uncontrollable world is the overall goal
>but I don't ever want to miss anything and I want the game to never throw me a curveball or do anything unexpected between separate playthroughs, I prefer the engine to build and operate identically every time and to offer no variation unless I present it, and I want total control over all of it

It's like you want to just play point and clicks or CCGs or something

Halo:CE - 6/10

Vanguard I played once. The gimmick was that even a pro-made deck you bought from the store could win you a tournament, don't know if that has maintained at all over the years.

Playing a bunch of GBA metroidvania romhacks and old Genesis roms I never got around to trying out. Also looking into OpenBOR for fanmade belt scroller games. Basically stuff I put off until later because they're "free" and easy to get whenever I want since I have no income right now to buy new games. Pretty good stuff so far.

I don't really play schmups but it was really fun, really good soundtrack as well.

Beat Halo Anniversary on PC and Doom Eternal, been working on Vice City, FF7 Remake, FF7 Original, Doom 64, and Animal Crossing. I have RE3 Remake download and ready to go, but it might be a little bit before I get to it.

I just don't want suff be hidden behind shit you need a guide for

Cookie Clicker

I've done a couple runs of DS1 and have played a shitload of Bannerlord.
