The xsex looks really impressive with it's specs and backwards compatibility, but so many people already recognize playstation as the "big console", which means absolutely nothing.

The ps5 is still going to sell ridiculously well despite the new xbox having better specs. All of Asia and Europe will mostly buy ps5, most of the people who had ps4s will buy ps5s so that they can transfer and continue their profiles and games they had over to it. All the big first party cinematic games and franchises are hugely popular with causals who've already cemented their loyalty with ps4 last gen and so will continue with what they know.
I don't know why you just wouldn't get a Pc if you are already looking at a Microsoft gaming anyways. Where does xbox even go if ps5 still destroys it in sales and popularity into the next gen despite having quite a superior performance machine?
