Potential dumpster fire soon. Tried this out for launch and had to give up after a straight month of keeping track of all the shitty design decisions and exploits.
Anyone else link their Steam accounts? Game's launching in less than 24 hours and I still don't have a preload option because Bethesda can't play well with fucking Valve. I'm already expecting a disaster.
Did the same, didn't even want to buy the game back during launch, but someone gifted it to me, because they wanted me to play with them only for them to drop it in less than a month. might as well switch to steam and see what potential memes we get out of this
Eli Mitchell
I'm just waiting to enjoy all the negative reviews. That entertainment is free.
Matthew Lewis
i was wondering why i didn't have a preload option. i linked my steam account too i just want to play it for a couple of hours to see if even this fucking dlc won't be enough to save it
Carson Robinson
Wait is it free now or something?
Ayden Jenkins
Oh nevermind it's the wasteshitters expansion
Jonathan Stewart
Fallout 76 is based, the hate around it is butthurt redditors who spend more time watching Yong yea and reading news about microtransactions in video games than they do playing them.
Brandon Davis
if you bought the game through the original bethesda launcher you COULD have linked your steam account with your bethesda account to get a free copy through steam, but its to late for that now they had a deadline last night on it
Julian Reyes
lmao no, in-fact they actually INCREASED the price back to 40€, can't make this shit up
Jaxon Gonzalez
What if I'm on Xbox?
James Garcia
only PC is what it said
Oliver Peterson
>yongyea fuck that gook the two aussie brothers is where it's at
Julian Jackson
kek, based todd jewing people
Bentley Lee
OP here. Honestly, I'm 100% willing to play the game full time if the game doesn't break on Steam for some bizarre reason. I'm a special case since I'm running it through Linux but the game was identically bad/mediocre when I played on Windows. You just can't fix inherently shitty design decisions through bug testing (unbalanced perks, pipe weapons being more powerful than laser weapons, shitty weapon durability, annoying scrap material frequencies, nonsensical enemy leveling, etc). Don't even get me started on the radio stations, the majority of which are either public domain or reused from past games. What a fucking shitshow.
Even when I'm trying to be nice and fair to the game, I keep going on a rant about how much of a goddamn pain it was. Fix this shit, Todd.
John Edwards
I wouldn't be surprised if it is gonna be more fucked up on steam, hell their fallout 3 game on steam is broken right now cant even launch the game without editing .ini files and downloading 3rd party software to get around the microsoft live shit that is preventing people with windows 10 from playing it
Owen Mitchell
>yongyea Is it mental illness? At even a whiff of Bethesda doing something he churns out a 10 minute video
Nicholas White
>Potential Have you paid attention to FO76 at all? There's nothing "potential" about it, it's a guaranteed dumpster fire.
Ryan Cook
I can't wait for the oriental to piss you guys off even more.
Hunter Smith
Well, this feels more like a second dumpster fire that caught fire from the first one. With some bad luck it'll spread through the entire warehouse district that represents Bethesda and give everything a good scorching.
That's the metaphor, anyway.
Connor Foster
Hard to fault the guy when it makes him money. It's really the reddit fanbase of his audience that are obsessed with Bethesda games more so than things they actually like. It's really strange. it takes a special kind of warped personality to devote so much time to hating something.
Jacob Jenkins
fuck you and everything you stand for. its fucking weak cunts like you that ruin the entire industry. get some taste you miserable pathethic lowlife
Isaac Diaz
Don't you have another video to make, Yong? I never understood that concept. A friend got me 76 at launch so we could play together. Neither of us liked it, I uninstalled that same week. Never really thought about it again. If I had to guess I'd say this game is the only thing that keeps tortanicfags going, which is why it still gets so much attention.
Chase Johnson
>game is universally panned by every media outlet and basically everyone who played it minus Bethesda streamers and bootlickers >Must be that redditor boogyman again, the game is good guys. I promise.
Tyler Perry
The game was broken and I spent months giving it the benefit of the doubt. Honestly, what stands out most to me was how depressed everyone sounded at launch. It was open mic and everyone was awkwardly trying to explore the world and get to know each other, but the game lacked so much fucking direction that it was barely worth grouping with anyone unless you felt obscenely lonely that specific night. There was one guy I passed who had the audio to the radio stations blaring by. You would fucking KNOW when he was around, but I never heard his voice. He was just quietly trying to dig through trash to find scrap and all I'd hear was the shitty public domain music playing somewhere in the distance.
It's a goddamn existential nightmare.
Jayden Hughes
I hate that all the early game guns are fucking garbage, energy weapons basically don't exist until 25+
Colton Jones
i'm enjoying the game and can't wait for wastelanders
Eli Clark
>Potential dumpster fire soon. game is pretty good. if you like building stuff it is top notch. I know of no other game that lets you build things in a multiplayer world like fo76 the combat is not very fun, and they're removing the only challenging combat in the game, the vault raids.
Levi Carter
>muh consumer digital rights >microtransactions are gambling >critics and popular consensus are never wrong
Took me an obnoxious amount of time to find a laser gun and it was absolute dogshit compared to the .45 pipe revolver. If you go back to early forum discussions, they had to nerf pipe weapon crafting because it was considered the best possible option for nearly half the main quest. By design, any other weapon you'd choose would be shittier because you get more weapon mods for early weapons and pipe weapons were the earliest one you could get. It was fucking madness.
Remember when open world Bethesda games were about giving you a fucking choice in terms of how to play? What a joke.
Jaxson Morales
>wastelanders is in closed beta for at least over 4 months now >it'll be a soft relaunch with a really impressive amount of new content >they know this is their only shot to make this game relevant >they are adding NPCs, single most requested feature >reviews will portray it as an OK game now, will conclude with "give it a shot" >it'll have positive reviews >it'll be one of the top selling games of April >it'll be a decent game
Are you ready for a rumble, Yas Forums? You'll hate whats coming your way in the next couple of days.
Owen Taylor
Because people are dumb and have short memories, you're probably right, but 76's history has been a cavalcade of one blunder after another to an absolute hilarious degree, and I will never forget how incompetent they were at every step of the way
i didn't play it at launch but I've played it for a long time got 4 100+ characters and I have never run into any game break bugs myself. the biggest crises was the inventory stealing hack.
Gavin Edwards
I believe it, people will always be retarded
Xavier Gray
Blame the fags who wouldn't a single rpg to be a multiplayer online game. As if that would ever be an improvement. And fuck Bethesda for catering to said lowest common denominator.
>NPCs >player specific cells mechanic >these two alone are huge changes, anyways moving on >companions for waifufags (/fog/ will be a cesspool for months to come) >new events, quests, storyline, updates to previous quests >world and lore update
>a new weapon tree (3 weapons) with F4 levels of customization >bows >new perks for them and possibly more idk >new power armor (armors if you count previously straight up unobtainable strangler PA) >couple of important new armors >tens of new cosmetic armors
its pretty exciting honestly
Jose Brooks
>buggy, boring, ugly mess at launch >pvp is a joke, pve combat was trash >kept releasing patches that broke the game even more even a year+ after release You aren't even good at being contrarian. Just comes off as a shill.
