I'm playing Final Fantasy VIII. Had my first game over, too.

>THE SOLDIERS RUN OUT OF THE TANK

>Zell gets smacked and game over
I forgot that boss fight had 2 stages. I thought I'd won. Ah well, now I know.

I was playing Bravely Second, but I'm gonna drop it. 3DS keeps crashing, not detected sd card. Plus the game is pretty boring. The story is so boring, there is no story. Just 4 idiots following a flying fortress while blushing at Yet and Magnolia puppy love.

Boring.

Any JRPGs that can give me this feel?

After I hopefully beat this, I'm gonna move on to FF9. Maybe I'll try FF8 after that. I'm also playing Bravely Second. Gameplay's pretty fun, but I could not care less about the story.

Are Ni no Kuni Remaster for $35 and Octopath Traveller for $45 good deals?

I got platinum Ni no Kuni on PS3 and it is not a very good game really. Octopath Traveler is great imo and I bought it day one.

Ni No Kuni 2 was going for $16. Remaster was going for $19.99. Octopath Traveler sold out even by Sony Bro standards. You can get it cheaper on PC.
