Can someone please tell me what the appeal of Battle Royale is? You spend the vast majority of the game camping and it's so damn luck based. With COD especially it's who-sees-who-first bullshit. Only the very end is exciting and that takes like 20-30 minutes to reach or some BS. I just don't get it. I really wish I could enjoy BR as it's the big thing now but I just can't get into it unfortunately.

Some of the areas are so dense that even if there are a lot of people you won't necessarily run into them. That said it's the only BR I've played for more than an hour so it might be a lot better than others in that regard in general. I played it for a few hours at my brother's house and it was rare that I wandered for too long without finding someone.
However even with the gulag essentially giving you two lives, rounding a corner and getting killed by someone camping in some extremely random basement is never not-annoying. I don't know how people play BRs for hours and hours without getting frustrated by stuff like that.

The game is probably the best BR I have ever played. My only gripe is using the controler to aim and shoot is awful, but I cant really fault the game for It. I never play multplayers fps on consoles because of that, but since the game is free im trying.
