Superior localizations

Everyone always goes on about how the original Japanese is superior no matter what. Are there examples where a localization is better than the Japanese, be it in a voice acting or text based context?

Fallout 4's localized version is superior to the original.
>JIGOKU DA, YA!

Final Fantasy XII is the only example I can think of

Final Fantasy VI.
The original script is bland and Kefka is just an evil dude. The SNES localization tunes up the drama and makes Kefka a crazy clown asshole.

Xenoblade immediately comes to mind, but the japanese dub is also good

>Marr-kwiss

I legit thought those were just some kind of Japanese doughnuts when I saw that as a kid.

every western games with Japanese dub

That’s the proper English pronunciation and English is the only relevant language in the west with the only dialects mattering being Canadian, Australian and Confederate English

Sonic Adventure 2. Sure, the voices overlap and there’s cheese, but good fucking lord sonic’s japanese va is horribly obnoxious and randomly yells shit in broken english
>YEH, DA WAS TAI
besides it’s not like the retarded story is any better in japanese
