They fixed some wall collisions, added a new mode and increased the wumpa time to an hour instead of 30 minutes.

That's good but how active is online? Last I played everyone that I competed against regularly were fading away and completely gone by GP 5. New blood was pretty fucking good though.

Managed to unlock every character. But fuck unlocking every skin and kart, which cost double or more.
And I got some dev times. But the reward was not interesting enough.
I only play a couple of games on weekend for the bonus. Feels good being able to place in 1st after being such a scrub at the beginning of the game.
The online still sucks, though. But its playable.

As someone who owns it on the xbox, get it on something else if you have it. Bumpers are flimsy as shit and I went through three controllers in three months of playing CTR. That and the D-pad is the best way to play this for better U-turn control but I could never make it work with an xbox controller, although others have. Can't imagine the playerbase is all that high either but I wouldn't know because I haven't done an online race in since the fifth gp and it wasn't exactly booming then.

You know, I feel like Activision really shot themselves in the foot with the way they handled this game's content. Why the fuck would you have time gated customization options that you can NEVER get again under any circumstances.

I'm pretty sure the only content never coming back is the grand prix decals. They're somewhat of an eyesore and are mostly just there to indicate that you were around for the beginning of the game.

Theres also the Sour Patch and Xfinity stuff that won't be coming back. But that was never gated just nigh impossible to obtain in-game where it should've been.

I'm a little surprised those haven't been put up as DLC. The Xfinity kart is actually really nice and I enjoy using it.
It won't be there in the first place for people who buy the game later on so I imagine they won't miss it.

I expect there to be a definitive edition down the line with cut stuff from promos/decals and the Oxide Edition stuff at base game. Probably won't be for awhile though.
