Brehs should I just buy RE3? I was waiting for this game since its announcement, it was my most hyped game of the year by far (only game I was really hyped for) and apparently it's not good. What do I do? ;_;

It's good, it's just short. If you want to spend $60, go for it. If you don't then don't. Who cares.

Same here, I'm waiting for a discount, after playing the demo and seeing some footage, it doesn't seem to be worth it for full price.

Wait for a sale. It’s good but way to short. And for some reason the infinite weapons let you get an s rank. Infinite rocket launcher makes short work of most of the game on harder difficulties

The funding for RE3 should have been stripped and put into the superior multiplayer game instead.

Pirate. Only the demo portion of the streets, the hospital and a portion of the final area actually feel like normal RE design. The rest is mostly a linear path from setpiece to setpiece.

why they do this? ;_;
WHHHHHHHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

Just get it anyway you want man, and stop being influenced by Yas Forums. It's been fun and comes with a fun multiplayer. If short on cash, just wait for Christmas.

buy her game

I've heard the game is just extremely linear, with no puzzles, and tons of scripted sequences and cinematics that interrupt gameplay. Like a little less shittier RE6.

It's good, and it's really closer to 7 - 8 hours than 4 or 5.

Is it worth full price though? I dunno, that's up for you to decide

Itll go on sale in a couple of months. Im on the same boat as you. I just replayed 3 on the gamecube and its a fucking blast. I just dont feel like paying full price for a gutted version with a multiplayer i will drop and didnt ask for. Give it till summer.

Wait for the discount, if you want to waste buy a figurine

The puzzles are braindead easy, the lab one I stumbled upon the solution with my first three button presses the first time. Slightly more difficult is the easter egg hunt to get the stones for the clocktower memorial thing, but that is just a little bit of exploring. I didn't realize I could go into the store with the blue stone my first playthrough

it’s okay, shit remake though

Buy it, unless your a fgt.

As everyone has said, the game is actually good just not worth 60 dollars, not even close. Game wouldn't have had near the backlash if it wasn't full priced.

It's not that the game is bad, it's that it's not worth $60. I bought it and I love it, but it's really not worth $60. If it was say $30 or had more optional game modes or at least 3 or 4 hours longer people wouldn't complain. It isn't a bad game though.

It's not just short, there is way too much cut content compared to the original. A REmake if anything is supposed to keep at least the same amount of content if not expand on it like REmake 2 did. RE3 is a cash grab and the online multiplayer mode is another failed attempt to add value and longevity and expand audience to shitty Twitch streamers.

REmake 2 made lots of compromises. It seems the only stuff they expanded on were the R.P.D and Sewers but this came at the expense of cutting all mention of the chemical plant and that abandoned factory you didn't really explore in the original. What annoyed me more was the fact they tried to shorthand folks by just having 2remake be just 2 A scenarios and cutting the idea of the concurrent story that both characters shared in the original then they hacked together 2nd runs due to fan outcry.

It's a fun game. If you're fine with paying full price, then buy it.
The only people who have major (legitimate) issues are Project Umbrella really, and their gripe is understandable, that they want the series to get back to the mainline titles and not these remakes, but you clearly don't mind the remakes.

god damn she's so pretty
>ywn gently wash the dirt from her face and bandaged her wounds

Too much was cut. The Dead Factory being removed is inexcusable.

The factory was cool but the lore behind it was retarded. We're supposed to believe that Umbrella had so many abducted human test subjects that they needed a factory to cremate them all? I can see why they cut it.

>tfw I bought it, because I'm a fgt

Resident Evil 3 Remake has the entrance to NEST 2 right next to a fucking hospital and nobody noticed shit. That's even more retarded.

$60 for a game shorter than a fucking Avengers movie..... I bet if you wait a few months you'll be able to get it for $20.

That was RE3. RE2's factory was just some random derelict place on the outskirts of the city which happened to lead into an underground lab.

The Dead Factory wasn't removed so much as it was absorbed into the NEST 2.
It actually makes more sense now, that they dispose of test subjects in the place where they research more practical uses for the viruses like BOWs and vaccines.
I do miss the Dead Factory's final area though. RE:3's Tyrant capsules are fine as a Gun Survivor reference, but not on the level of the battle between the US Army and the t-103s

You sound like the kind of person that watches Avengers movies.
