What are some ports you wish existed? No current gen systems allowed

When will you people learn to emulate?
Has nothing to do with emulation. I just think it would be neat.
Also if it were on the PlayStation 2 it probably would have sold more and maybe Sega would have committed to the style of gameplay
Fuck it, I'm unashamed to say it.
Pic related.
'Emulate' and 'Port' are 2 different things.
Fuck yes! I would to have JWE on Switch even though I already 100% it on Xbone. Would also like pic related and it’s sequel on Switch
For PSP
I mean they managed to make console versions of planet coaster.
I'd think they could squeeze a switch version of JWE since its already PS4/X1. Maybe they're waiting to finish all the dlc or something.
Glad SA1 and 2 never got ported to PS2. It just wouldn't make sense and the games that did get ported from that era sucked dog shit.
Or the games would be universally hated because the port quality would be on par with Sonic Heroes' PS2 port.
So fine but with mildly worse performance?
Why the fuck didn't this happen anyway? SADX specifically came out on PC too so it surely wasn't some exclusivity contract fuckery
Idk. I remember back when it came out the company said they didn’t have a Switch version planned because of performance issues but things could have changed
Sonic Heroes was locked to 30 FPS, but would go down to about 15 FPS frequently. People already hated the SADX GC port for its FPS drops, and that game at its worst still performed better than Heroes PS2.
SADX GC was 60fps against DC's 30. Sure it wasn't a stable 60 but it was definitely a step up.
I was actually thinking about this tonight. It's weird how SEGA spread themselves out after the Dreamcast bowed out, Gamecube getting Sonic exclusives, Xbox getting JSRF, PS2 getting Yakuza. Did the companies pay for exclusivity or did they just choose to do it that way? Ports shouldn't have been too difficult, except maybe downgrading PS2 versions if needed.
Chromehounds. Whatever it takes to bring it back.
ignoring the second part of op to continue to will this into existence

tl;dr they may have increased the framerate but they didn't adjust the rest of the game accordingly, and arguably a consistent 30 fps is better than an inconsistent 60 fps
>The same games, just at a lower framerate, lower resolution and with performance issues
Why? Just play them on Gamecube.

Add Twin Snakes and you're set.
I can't wrap my head around SA1/SA2 not getting PS2 versions back then, or at least SA2.
Migrating the Sonic fandom to Nintendo consoles lead Sega to putting up with their underpowered hardware from the Wii-onwards.
Microsoft paid for exclusivity. With Sonic on GC it was pure comradery combined with Sega avoiding PS2 as long as they possibly could, which when Sony caught on they threatened to blacklist them completely (Heroes was initially GC, Xbox, PC, which was far from natural).
You literally aren't implying SA2 could'nt run on a fucking PS2 right?
Nobody could've seen that coming. At the time the GC was easier to develop for as well as more powerful. Hell, Sonic 06 was going to be on Nintendo until they learned what the Wii was.
Twin Snakes is already on that boxart.
You're blind
DC to PS2 ports were almost always shit. I legit can't think of a single one that wasn't. Even something like Rayman 2 had to gut the framerate.
>PS2 ports of the Adventure games
No. No no no. Just.... no. Absolutely fucking not. Take a look at Sonic Heroes and Shadow the Hedgehog. The PS2 ports were fucking god awful. They had absolutely abysmal framerate, worse graphics, and terrible stability and optimization. There's absolutely no way that PS2 ports of the Adventure games would be any better.
>Leon's tongue lash attack is broken
Wow I never even knew this attack existed. I've never played the original DC version.
Speaking of games that couldn't run on the PS2, Skies of Arcadia was supposed to get a ps2 port but got canceled.

Secret of Mana on Gamecube a la Crystal Chronicles.
3 GBAs, menu on the handheld, action on the television. It removes the constant pausing to access spells, weapons, and items in multiplayer.
