I have no reason to play it right now.

It's one of those videogames that has been praised as the ultimate videogame duology, one of those titles that makes the rest of the industry obsolete. So instead of playing it now and ruin the rest of videogames for myself, I'll wait until videogames are no more (as, no new games are made and I finish playing all the games I wanted to play). Only then I'll play it.

Nobody wants to play as a girl, especially a petite girl in a frilly skirt. She doesn't look badass at all. She looks like a really pretentious goth girl. The only other man in the series looks like a twink. Plus their weapons litterally float over their bodies. It looks fucking stupid.

The weird robot apocalypse setting is hard to relate to unlike something like Last of Us which is instantly understandable.

The gameplay itself is hack and slash boring been there blah blah blah that only appeals to hardcore gamers who are familiar with this stuff.

It had nothing to do with playstation. It's a game that only appeals to Japanese fans of hack and slash and a limited audience in the states.

Such game having five fans is still having way too many, especially when said fans praise it as the sole good game available on Playstation consoles. So yeah, it's extremely overrated.

Imagine a world where Sony didn't fuck up the Vita with proprietary memory cards, gave it more support and advertised it more.

Where they also made a newer OLED model without all the issues of the 1000 series.

You don't know what overrated means. Any game that isn't straight up garbage will have at least a small amount of people loving it since it appeals to their particular tastes. That does not make a game overrated, let alone extremely so.

I'm a big fan of these games but they're not perfect. They're just really unique and have a memorable artstyle, soundtrack, and gameplay, but there's a good chance that game will either "click with you" or it doesn't. It's worth trying out if you want to play something different.

No. The wipeout collection was nice, but it could've been better with some new content. MediEvil remake was nice to see. Resogun was an okay game, but more like an indie game. Dreams had an amazing concept, but it doesn't really work in todays meme world where people just recreate garbage.
