Tomorrow morning I am going to first contact Square Enix requesting a full refund, a written apology for their false advertisement of FF7 Remake and to request that they can no longer market the game or any releases as part of the collection as “Remake”..
I will request a 30 day notice on this email and if I don’t get both, which I suspect I won’t, certainly the latter, I’ll be filing an initial complaint with the advertising regulators and also will raise a lawsuit against Square Enix for the emotional distress this has caused me, in having sold me the dream of a FF7 Remake and not delivering on this.
I am deadly serious, I will update on here first before anywhere else.
Ive already collated numerous pieces of evidence that clearly point to the fact that this release is claimed to be a remake, which it clearly is not, if you’ve played the game. It’s far from being a remake.

Video game developers have long been able to simply lie to generate sales, this is unacceptable and is completely against fair trading practices; I hope that my efforts will create waves across the industry for the future.

Well, good luck my friend.

Squarenix is a billion dollars worth company. If you take them to court, they will fucking ruin you with the most expensive lawyers money can buy. I don't know how it works in your country, but in mine, if you move an action that is later argued to be in "bad faith", you have to pay the expenses of the judiciary system, which is usually a small fortune.
Don't ruin your life for the Yas Forums memes.

Why spend thousands on a lawyer and court case for a 60 dollar game
