Something where you can play as Sparda

not LDK outfit, I want to see what kind of bullshit specifically that guy did to piss off literally the entire demon realm. series doesn't need another prequel though so maybe a dlc or something?

idk i just want to play as sparda

Sparta's origin story told to dante and vergil by Eva as kids she was there for all of it

>I want to see what kind of bullshit specifically that guy did to piss off literally the entire demon realm
Didn't he just defend humans?
Also yeah,a short story showing his past would be great

No.

...

Hear me out.

>Prequel
Set during Mundus' invasion on earth. Enter one of his highest lieutenants: Sparda, referred to by his underling demons as "The Legendary Dark Knight". Sparda easily disposes of most of the "resistence". Encounters Eva the Witch(Human??)l, who over the course of the game tries to convince Sparda not to wipe out humanity but turn aganist the evil doers because she senses resolve and human emotion in him. Thus setting up Sparda's origin story and how he sealed away Mundus.

>Weapons
>Arms
Sparda the sword: His signature weapon. Acts like Rebellion
Yamato: Self explanatory. Works like Vergil's Yamato

>Guns
Finger blasters: Works like Ebony and Ivory. Sparda fires little demon bullets from his finger tips.
Spiral Swords: Also how it works with Vergil

Dunno about this one. But those are some general ideas

>Styles
Darkslayer being his main one. Focuses on teleporting up and front.
Royal Knight: A form of Royalguard with how it works such as blocking and parrying attacks to throw that damage back.
Trickster: Minusing the teleportation. Can be used for easier and faster evasive movement from attacks. Is also a mix of Doppleganger with Sparda being able to make shadow ninjitsu clones that while do minimal damage can up his style meter and take a few hits before vanishing. Uses DT.
Gunslinger: Self explanatory. Gives Sparda more versitility with his guns.

>Characters
Sparda: Legendary Dark Knight and Protagonist. Future Father of Dante and Vergil
Eva: Human witch. Sparda's future wife but a supporting side character that tries to help Sparda come to term with who he's really fighting for.
Mundus: The big bad. Ruler of the underworld. The main villain and the final boss.

>Gameplay
Obviously DMC 5-like. But with a mix of DmC mixed in. Sparda's DT could be like how sin devil trigger works. Minus the invulnearability. Since yknow Sparda is very fucking godlike already.

>Whatever I want
This fucking game. I just want to play as cocky smart allec Sparda fucking up demons and saving the world. The ending could be After the olbigatory big "jackpot" finale to Mundus. During the epilogue Sparda decides to seal off the underworld "forever". He transmutes his demon energy into the future weapons of Dante and Vergil and hands them to their young selves. He wishes them to never become like him but to keep his gift as a memento so that they may never cry and miss him and he gives his 2 boys a hair ruffle before dissapearing. The 2 kids hug their mother holding back their devil tears before saying their goodbye to their father. Fast forward to modern day and Dante and Vergil are still fighting inside the Qliphoth the two reminisce on the tales their mother used to tell them of their father before chuckling and continuing to duke it with one another and turning into their DT forms. Cue DMC 7 tease with them being able to leave or Nero still on the Earth fighting demons.

Sorry for my fanfic but you DID ask what I wanted OP. I don't think we'll be getting any DMC stuff for a long time tho minus the V novel and the crossovers and mobile games.

Devil May Cry GT, then Super

>Devil May Cry GT, then Super
I know your refrenceing dragonball but DMC racing game when

It's obvious next game will be related to Mundus as they kepy namedropping him on 5

Why I woun't mind seeing the blob monster again. I would much raver have him killed off in a spinoff game than a main entry.

So how did Spara die anyway Assuming he's not alive

So when will visions of V even end it's already entering the games

Dante and Vergil find a castle or some other kind of large structure in the underworld. They go inside and find an evil demon who wrecks their shit. Because of [demon magic], they lose all their weapons and abilities. Vergil is captured and Dante is knocked way down into the deepest level of the castle.

The castle is interconnected and relatively non-linear. There are story gates but there's some degree of freedom with boss orders. Similarly to DMC1/3 and Resident Evil, you collect macguffins to open the way forward. Unlike previous DMCs, there are no missions, everything is seamless and loading screens are kept to a minimum. Divinity statues act as checkpoints, and the map connects back to them via shortcuts. Individual rooms have more going on than previous games, there are obstacles/hazards the player must avoid but can also knock enemies into. There's no precision platforming but there is distinct level design.

First half of the game you play as Dante. You start out with only Devil Sword Dante (depowered), Ebony & Ivory, and a brand new Grappler style. The Grappler style gives Dante several grab moves. Unlike Nero's devil buster, Grappler is not based on the enemy type, but based on the enemy's position (grounded, launched, close to a wall, etc). Your directional input determines where the enemy is knocked towards. One of the Grappler moves is enemy surfing from DMC3. You also reacquire all your old styles, and find new devil arms and guns. I legitimately can't think of a fist/kick weapon better than Balrog so I won't try. There's a saxophone devil arm. Coyote-A gets replaced with double shotguns. Royal Guard gets a back-to-forward input move where you create a barrier at the cost of some meter, it can block projectiles, you can also knock enemies into it, but it has limited durability. Trickster gets wall run from DMC3 (you can run up Royal Guard barriers). Halfway through the game, Dante finds and rescues Vergil, but is captured himself.

>plot
bang bang wahoo!
>weapons
a gun that shoots teenage mutant ninja turtles XD
a ray gun that only kills racists like that episode of TNG
>styles
drag queen stance
>characters
definite cameos by Rick and Morty as well as all the Borderlands mcs
>gampleay in general
fuck gameplaY! aall we want is bang bang wahoo!

Second half of the game you play as Vergil. You finish what Dante started and explore the rest of the castle. A really powerful demon stalks you, similar to Mr. X/Nemesis, defeating him gives blue/purple orb fragments or a lot of red orbs. What makes Vergil different is that he is able to fully wield the power of every devil arm. Each devil arm gives him a totally unique jump, dodge, special (circle) move, projectile, and devil trigger. Weapons include a repurposed Balrog (stolen from Dante but with new moves), a naginata, and a transforming bow. The penultimate final boss is Vergil vs possessed Dante. Unlike DMC4, Dante is not an input-reading cheater and is actually fun to fight. The final boss is the big evil demon, over the course of the fight you switch between Vergil and Dante.

Nero is DLC, he explores the castle but the macguffins are remixed and he gets his own bosses and devil breakers.

>plot
It's SA2 but Nero is Sonic and gets a rival that's his Shadow (Negro)
The finale is both of them teaming up and going SDT to fight the bad guy in space, and Negro sacrifices himself at the end.
>Weapons
Nero gets another sword to dual wield, devil breakers can be swapped now
>characters
Both Nero and Negro have their own campaign. Negro would play similar to El Donte
Dante is a bonus character you unlock when you finish DMD

Thoughts? I think I have something solid

There was an idea for DMC 0, where you play the story of Sparda, but it was never realized

>styles
I have an interesting idea based on DmC's DT. First of all, I'd like to see the DMC4 physics back so this works better. Now, I'd like to see a Style based on gravity control. Similar to Quick silver and Doppleganger, it consumes your DT metter. When you activate it, everything gets floaty and you can do 100% momentum based combos and moves. Also, you can change the gravity poins to walk on walls, and you can shoot gravity spheres so enemies will float in circles atracted around it (similar to Vergil's Round trip in DMC4). The idea is to add lots of verticality to the combat.
Eh what do you think?
No, I don't like DmC

Oh and forgot to say Live and Learn plays in the final mission of course

Split the game into two campaigns; you can play either one, they don’t flip-flop between (think the Sonic Adventure games)

Campaign 1 is Nero and Nico running the DMC business. It’s set up sort of like MonHun missions, except with enemies all over the city; you have to track down a boss and then kill it.

Campaign 2 is a more conventional DMC story set in Hell, with Dante and Vergil trying to finish the forces of hell once and for all. Each mission can be played as either character.

Once you clear both campaigns, their storylines converge to reveal something something blah blah portal to hell that’s letting the demons through, Dante and Vergil meet up with Nero and there’s a final campaign starring all 3.

Post-game adds new hunts to the main world, but Dante and Vergil are there to help. Also some of the hunts will now take you into hell via portals that allow the worlds to connect to the various mission maps from their campaign.

Gameplay changes:
>Nero’s breakers now have lock-on directional moves; Snatch is back so Wire Snatch is gone
>Break Away can now be charged up to do Exploder with any arm; Overture gets something else if it stays
>Nero can switch between the first 3 breakers in his magazine at will; breaking one cycles the 4th breaker into that slot, until he’s used all 8

>Dante and Vergil gain the ability to tag-battle, swapping between the two mid-combo
>once you beat the game, Nero can be tagged in too
>Vergil gets new Summoned Sword “formation” abilities that work like Shadow and Griffon’s moves; enemies killed with summoned swords have to be finished off with Yamato to die
>Dante gets a new devil arm that’s like a land-mine but he uses it as a basketball and soccer ball, bouncing it off of enemies to make it explode and come back to him

That’s all I got. Maybe a van stunt-driving minigame with Nico.

20 years into the future.

You play with Dante and Trish's son, who also has a playable half-sister of Dante and Lady.

They need to fight a Demonic Alien full Invasion who came to conquer earth.

The earth's demon have a truce with Dante's family, so they can both combat the alien demons.

Oh, I forgot to mention that Dante a third offspring with Patty.

Real DMC: 1, 3, 4

DmC tier: DmC, 5

I don't know, not feeling that plot honestly

You've been trying for years to force this, but it's not happening. You should try something else.

realy

kys

Goddamn he's sexy

Nero and Kyrie have triplets, one carries over Nero's mechanics, one carries over V's mechanics but improved, and one has an entirely new style that's fucking God Hand and then DLC brings Dante and Vergil back.
