I dont understand the dislike for 2. It improves on a lot of 1 and for the time it had some amazing features, like ragdolls and physics. The story isnt the same bit it's still really good. Game holds up well today still, can only assume people saying it isnt good are shit posting Yas Forumstards

MP 3 is the easiest of the three yet has the most satisfying gun play. It also just has the worst story. It felt more like an attempt at a Kane and Lynch 2 that doesn't suck than a Max Payne game. Honestly, Max Payne 3 is to Max Payne games as Nosgoth is to Legacy of Kain games.

That’s the worst part. It makes you so OP that you don’t have to worry about dodging bullets, which was the whole point. If I’m not mistaken, projectiles were hitscan most of the time in the sequel, whereas in MP1 you could dodge bullets even without bullet time if you watched where the enemy’s gun was pointed.

They definitely increased the speed of the bullets at least. In MP2 it always felt hitscan outside of BT, whereas MP1 you can dodge bullets no problem without ever needing to touch it. Your bullets also weren’t hitscan in and out of BT so you needed to lead your targets as well, which provided a much more engaging combat experience.

You're mistaken. Hitscanning was definitely a thing in MP1. When the dynamic difficulty ramped up, you'd get fucked in 0.1 seconds after peeking a corner because you just instantly take damage with no way to avoid it.

Plebs weren't filtered by anything in MP3. It was very popular when it came out.
