Valorant pushed on twitch like no other game probably with a million dollar marketing campaign

>Valorant pushed on twitch like no other game probably with a million dollar marketing campaign
>Teamfight Tactics already ded
>Legends of Runeterra horribly unbalanced and dying
>League somewhat actually balanced for once

WTF is the endgame here. All their "new" games are garbo, yet League is fun again.

You gotta find something better to play.

"Riot Games was majority-acquired by Tencent in February 2011 and fully acquired in December 2015. "

Man I hate this chick shes gonna be so annoying to listen to when she becomes a champ

Runeterra at least is fucking dead considering it has 2k viewers while a tournament is going on and 1.2k of those are on fucking swim.

valorant is flavor of the month game. If these hype obsessed retards had any brains they would just play csgo

>a million dollar marketing campaign
how much did they spend?

>while a tournament is going on

lmao

CHINKD

What is with Riot and their blitz marketing and media dilution?

Looks like a good strategy to attract zoomers IMO. Guess the hard part is keep the attention of these AD(H)D retards.

Valorant is fun, the only issue I found is too many Twitchbabbies not understanding how fucking Counter-Strike works.
TFT's got its mobile app now and it's a more convenient way to play it, it's also built into the League client so it probably isn't going to die too badly.
Runeterra is probably fucked though.

Maybe I never touched CSGO because it's probably got all the same issues as F2P TF2 (doubly so now that it's F2P too) but also a fucking cutthroat marketplace revolving around pretty knife colors. Valorant has a lot of hype-drunk retards who'll fall off and probably return to Overwatch or something but it's a fairly solid game from my experience with it.

Runeterra is literaly, the best out of all.

They're trying to recreate their success in other genres with the exact same strategy they used for LoL. Copy, simplify and make free. It works for non-established genres but not older ones with more competition. Teamfight does okay cause autochess was up and coming, Runeterra falls apart cause you already have so many choices. A genre can usually have 2 or 3 top games, once those positions are taken you can't as much shift them as wait for one to fall off and try to take its place.

Valorant could still do okay, there are lots of samey shooters that manage somehow. Same for the fighter, though the shills who expect it to reinvent the genre are in for a shock. Making specials into button presses is barely a dent in the massive barrier to entry the genre has. But neither will take over the genres, they'll be another okay one on the pile.

They have that whole you're either first or you are last mentality. Everything has to be the next big esport all your ecelebs love as they eplay their egames. I think they do it cause none of these games are actually attractive to their main audience so they have to sell it in round about ways.

Nah. It's also in an oversaturated market. My main go-to digital card games are Zenonzard and TEPPEN.
Gwent's also on mobile now too while Runeterra still hasn't left soft launch. Then Cardfight Vanguard Zero just left soft launch, and then you have the behemoths Shadowverse, Hearthstone and probably MTG Arena as well. If anything it'll probably do better than whatever Valve plans to do with Artifact.

god valorant movement is so slow and that tagging slow feels like you're getting hit by a morgana bind this game is just slow not engaging at all zzzzzz

>They're trying to recreate their success in other genres with the exact same strategy they used for LoL
The little issue here is that unlike with LoL where Blizzard went full retard, there is an actual competition.

what's the deal with swim? every game he starts playing dies

Better shooters died for less.

Yes, because artificially hyping a game always turns out so well, just like Apex Legends.

Exactly. Even if it isn't good competition, if you are use to booting up one game for a certain shot of dopamine then you are already too caught up. You only move once a sequel to that comes, or they fuck up in such a spectacular way that everyone gives up. The pillars of that genre are establish. You could release a 1:1 CSGO clone, but with some basic improvements, girls with big butts and no one would move over. They've unlocked too much shit, invested too much time and let the parasitic relationship take over.

>league is fun right now
are you braindead
