Why'd they do it?

Why'd they do it?

I will never not be mad about them getting rid of the set bonus from this. Not being able to disguise/cloak on command made it worthless against any team that wasn't retarded, but it was fun as fuck to use for pubstomping.

If you aren't rocking the Big Kill, uninstall.

this and the sandman change made me so angry

Because it was a crutch

>crutch
>required aim to be good
you mean a straight up upgrade if your aim wasn't shit

So, see, the enforcer is the gun that actually required the most skill because ???????????

Because nu-Valve is garbage and tried to cater to compfags before abandoning the game, which means all they accomplish was permanently leaving the game in a really shitty state

To harvest spy tears. Real alphas use pic related.

If Valve cared about crutch weapons being in the game they wouldn't have added shit like the razorback, spycicle or homewrecker.

based

>homewrecker is a crutch

It's a straight up safety net for shitty engineers who get themselves killed while failing to protect their sentries.

this or stock is the chad choice

they made it in the first place because sniper had razorback and spy had no answers
then they nerfed it because people stopped going for backstabs since the headshot on this was too good

Because bad players tried to be cool with it so often and kept dying, now spy players play smarter.

>design sniper to be vulnerable to backstabs
>just get rid of his vulnerability lol

I have never, ever seen a Pyro use a homewrecker to help an Engineer
And I even play Engineer sometimes when I'm drunk

Sitting intel with the rancho relaxo while drinking irl is kino

I dunno what servers you play on then because I used to see it quite often while playing both engie and spy. Pyro was already a perfect engineer babysitter so I dunno why they felt the need to add a way to completely negate the one thing spies could do in a situation like that.

>always used this just to be based, knowing almost none of its piercing works
>mfw finding out it pierces Wrangler shield
>mfw ruining the fun of RR+W engies doing the epic high-up sentry strategy on ghost fort

their reasoning made sense
the spy was never meant to be a long range class, and the ambassador basically made that possible
it still functions as it should at close range, which is what he should be, a close range class

>aim to be good
you literally just had to keep your crosshairs at head level there was hardly any aiming involved and there still isn't it wasn't nerfed hard enough honestly

if you want to call anything a crutch then it should be the neon annihilator
not only does it remove sappers too it also makes pyro have guaranteed crits in an enviroment where he should be defenseless

I like dustbowl stalemates personally

The same servers everyone else plays, communities are dead

It pierces Wrangler? Huh. Learned something new.

>hear sapper
>if engineer is standing next to it, spam flames
>if no engineering, use homewrecker

>I like dustbowl stalemates personally
Me too because it always leads to mission impossible shenanigans where whatever you're doing either backfires spectacularly or it snowballs into an epic play

Immediately switched to stock after Ambassador nerf

thr ambassador was nerfed because it was a gun shitters could use to pretend they had skill. pretty funny to watch shitters like yall fucking cry about it.

The point of the amby was to give Spy a means to doing stealth kills that didn't require going right behind someone. But spies were just treating old amby as a way to play mobile sniper.

Likewise Sandman has always been a controversial weapon due to stuns generally being considered bad in TF2. I'm pretty sure Valve wished they could just take that weapon out altogether, they seem to have an unwritten rule that removing weapons from the game is a no-no.

My post wasn't even talking about the ambassador.

i am correct though. you also probably main spy and unironically think he takes skill.
