Potions give fixed %xp so you buy 5000 potions, find a map with an xp boost square and chug.
You can have your tank lift the last ennemy and occasionally heal them.

Disgaea 1 and 4 had the most soul. All five has going for it is complicated mechanics. That said, at least five isn't as overrated as two, which had something of a story, but tons of filler.

Only bring 3 people with you, the person you want to level, the tank to lift and keep hold of the ennemy and a healer that can outheal the damage lifting things cost.
There's lot's of more detailed exp guides out there though.

Oh right, post game you unlock the ability to set exp gain to like 500% if you set skill gain and other stuff to 10%
That with the bonus exp grides on certain levels gets you 300 levels every 15 minutes
