>Is your autism strong
no
ok, what games do you play?
Stellaris, Dwarf Fortress
why do all these fun autistic games have the worst UI made to man?
Like jesus christ a functioning game needs to have a good, understandable UI before it can be truly autistic
the devs or the person that made them lack artistic skills.
No. I already tried it and have discovered that Distant Worlds: Universe is about my autism threshold.
Because it distracts from the pure information
Still a good game
Spore is better
I like graphics
That's cool, I like games
i cant even handle dwarf fortress so id probably have a stroke if i played this
Spore is a game
I like Spore
oo Aurora C# became real
I didn't say spore wasn't a game, I just said I liked games. You said you like graphics
Aesthetics are an essential part of making a pleasant product
>racial wealth
I'm sold
>why do all these fun autistic games have the worst UI made to man?
Literally because autism, they do not see things the way other people see them and they're utterly incapable of empathizing with different points of view.
Same with shit like Graviteam Tactics, for over a decade now the devs completely shoot down any criticism or suggestions regarding the UI, hell some professional UI artist literally mocked up a god tier, AAA UI for them to use and they turned it down, again because autism, and it's basically the one thing holding the game back from literally being THE best WW2 strategy game ever. They just cannot get their shit together on the presentation/usability front to create a compelling product and instead just endlessly bitch about how "niche" games aren't profitable etc
With that said i'd wager Aurora would be extremely easy to mod with regard to the UI, it's probably using off the shelf shit to begin with.
You can like two different things, user.
It's a good thing that some people care about making a fun game more than about selling their nature-identical gaming product.
Aren't the creators of Graviteam some ukranians living in a basement or something?
Got a pic of that proposed UI? I'm a graviteam fan as well
Dude did a pretty comprehensive explanation of it here.
>60 (sixty) washingtons
ahhh!
worth it?
men of war is better
>Aren't the creators of Graviteam some ukranians living in a basement or something?
Would not surprise me in the least if andrey was in fact pic related.
I play for fun so no boring or multiplayer games for me
I think so, but I don't know how much $60 is to you
>men of war is better
Men of War is great, but it doesn't have anywhere near the depth, scale or strategy of Graviteam stuff.
Does Distant World Universe run well in the end game compared to Stellaris?
I've never played Stellaris so I don't know how to compare, but when I play max size, max stars, when the galaxy gets full it can get chuggy but that's late late
God damn, I don't think i've ever seen infantry get into melee range before, that's amazing.
Shame the actual game is bad and poorly paced, the details spent on your commanders and stuff doesn't have any real effect on anything else.
Rule the Waves is fun though
It's a bit dark, but I sent a platoon in to the woods on recon without noticing they had no ammo. First enemy they encounter wiped the out
Looks interesting, more pics please
This is just a DOS version of EVE Online
