Why doesn't Atlus just give me an option to download a save where I start where the new content starts? I hear the content is basically the same the first few months.

The new stuff is literally setup throughout the entire game. They can't just drop you into the third semester because then the player would have zero context on Takuto or Kasumi.

There’s like a few new cutscenes sprinkled in, but the base game is largely unchanged. Everything new sticks out like a sore thumb.
