On the flipside, they put Rathalos in early so it could be a boss in the full game even before any DLC was considered. A second set of DLC is the perfect chance to reconsider it adding a full set of fighter and stage, especially since we haven't gotten the Mii costumes back or had a Monster Hunter spirit event yet. I do hope they include a proper Ancestral Steppe stage with the Mii costumes to one-up the music tracks and give a proper place to have the Monster Hunter music.

Is there even a single other character in smash speculation history that has as many retards scrambling for evidence on why "he can't be in." Every time a previous rule for why "he can't be in" is broken like ARMS having an Assist Trophy in base , just like MH, and getting a DLC fighter they make some new excuse like "MH is 1st party, it's different!" or "he would just be a Byleth clone!" I don't feel like a monster hunter character would translate very well/be true to series. A lot of the fun is the depth of movesets and you're just gonna "eh make him use one weapon for one attack or something" it's a dumb idea.
Here is a good idea on how the Hunter could play. I would change it a bit though such as have him use less weapons in his A attacks.
