A few got filtered, but most of them just never played it. It's a good game, much better than Doom 2016.

I was making it through fine, but I wasn't having fun. I thought the new combat system was annoying and it didn't feel like a doom game. People kept telling me to wait until after I get the super shotgun. After getting it I played for maybe about 35 mins before I gave up on it and uninstalled.
I genuinely don't understand why people like this game, this isn't doom

Probably. The only annoying thing was the marauder and the tutorial popups but you get used to dealing with him after a while and the popups can be disabled.

Calling it the best FPS ever is a huge meme. But it's a good game. The combat works really well the vast majority of the time. Other aspects of the game aren't quite as great, but not bad either. It's a solid 7/10.

It's not that an FPS can't use them, I just hate being stopped in Doom when I'm trying to kill at warp speed. It's an annoying speed bump.

But what if you use the Blood Fueled rune, then? You briefly stop moving so you can move twice as fast for several seconds. The Seek and Destroy rune does this in reverse by letting you teleport large distances up into a staggered enemy's face, even up ledges you wouldn't be able to reach otherwise.
