Mortal Kombat for being the only actually good one. Street Fighter is carried by Raul Julia. Silent Hill has at least an attempt at realizing the world which it does fairly well.

Resident Evil is fucking complete dogshit but makes the most money insuring its continued existence. I hate it.

The only good thing about the first silent hill movie is going the extra effort in to do the 'alley camera angle' thing the first game did. Everything else about it is shit.

They managed to capture the atmosphere from the games, and even though the story wasn't a 1-to-1, it still was good. It's the only videogame adaptation that is actually interesting and that got many things right from the games.

This, I rewatched it a week ago and cannot believe how much of a good time it was. The one on one with the Hell Knight was fucking intense, and the FPS scene was pure unadulterated fun.

If you didn't live through the 90s, go to the arcades and play the games, then see the movie in 95, you wouldn't understand.
